The Cassidy James series strikes a perfect balance between mystery, adventure, romance, humor, human insight, and back to nature. Such delightful writing and quirky characters is rare. Read one and get hooked and you'll be reading them all. I'm not a rabid fan of the genre but I love Kate Calloway.

After reading "1st Impressions", I couldn't wait to read "2nd Fiddle". Again, another good mystery. I like the series approach so we really get to know the many people in the books. Throwing in bits of Cass's private life makes it all the more exciting.
