Editorial Reviews

About the Artist

Since Robin Crow’s stint with RCA/Rendezvous, he has released three albums on his own label, High Concepts (2nd Nature, Quiet Before the Storm, and Irresistible Flame) and collaborated with Jon Anderson of Yes, Béla Fleck, Kirk Whalum, and Phil Keaggy.

Robin blazes new trails with an unmistakable musical approach bridging pop, jazz, and world rhythms. His albums continue to receive critical acclaim from both press and radio. The Boston Post Gazette says, “Crow is a guitar genius!” The Florida Times Union says, “Crow’s music is a rocket launcher for the imagination.”

Robin is also an author, speaker, and entrepreneur. His new book, Jump... and the Net Will Appear offers insight to those who are interested in creating an extraordinary quality of life at the deepest level. Through humorous stories he shares some of the strategies and tools that have allowed him not only to take quantum leaps in building wealth and a successful career, but also to create a rich and fulfilling life for himself, his wife, and four children.

Robin’s evolution as a musician and author has converged in his current nationwide tour of convention centers and arenas, where he offers a unique blend of speaking and guitar performance.

Product Description

An instrumental collaboration with Béla Fleck, Jon Anderson, Phil Keaggy, Kirk Whalum and many noted Nashville players that features Robin Crow's innovative guitar work... outstanding smooth jazz with world rhythms and powerhouse performances.

3.0 out of 5 stars Robin Crow, 2nd Nature, October 27, 2011

This review is from: 2nd Nature (Audio CD)
Robin Crow's "2nd Nature" is rather average for this artist. "Creator" and "Quiet Before the Storm" are quite decent recordings. "Irresistible Flame" was a dim flame compared to other Robin Crow projects.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bland light jazz, February 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: 2nd Nature (Audio CD)
I've only heard track 3 of this album, and ironically enough "to risk it all" is the most sedentary and unchallenging piece of easy listening that I've heard for quite some time. There is a slightly latin-sounding beat behind the generic tones of this music that gives it a little uplift, but don't listen to this if you're trying to stay awake! Very pleasant to hear, but certainly nothing new and no risk involved.
