I ordered a similar product from Kahlon and paid much more. This product worked great and I'm still using it on my old Dell Dimension 8200. I have used this vendor twice and will go back whenever I need something he has. Great deal, great service.

I have a well-aged Dell Dimension 8100 computer with a 1.4 GHz processor. While not the fastest and latest, it does the job. One shortcoming in this age of 'bloatware' is the memory. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on a machine I got for just the price of Windows XP operating system, I ordered the 1 GB (2×512 MB) memory from Computer Memory Solutions. The seller stated that the memory was 'used, like new'. Indeed, it was pristine, with not even any marks on the connections. I plugged it in, booted up the computer (which I am using to write this), and it found the added memory. No muss, no fuss.

I was surprised by how quickly it arrived. I ordered the memory over the weekend, and it arrived in the mail on Wednesday, even though I stated standard (lowest cost) shipping. The two memory modules arrived in a padded envelope. Inside I found the modules properly protected in a double-pocket ESD bag. Overall, a very good transaction.

I was given a Dell Dimension 8200 by a friend that had upgraded to a new computer and no longer wanted this computer. I checked the Dell website and found out that the to upgrade the memory for this computer to a full 2GB required two (2) 1GB RAMBUS memory module pairs (4x512MB total) for this computer. The total price for the upgrade from the Dell website would have put the cost of all of the memory at over $500.00. I checked around the web to see if there were any websites that offered the same memory for less money and was pleased to find that an Amazon partner was selling the memory that I needed for less than one quarter of that price, including shipping. I reviewed the specificiations from the Dell website to ensure that I was getting the correct modules.

When I received the memory upgrade, I installed it and was very happy to see that I received a quality memory upgrade that now allows me to utilize this computer to its fullest capacity.
