This is not compatible with the iPhone. This retailer just assumed that since it worked with the iPod it would also work for the iPhone. I've returned this product and advised them to change the description.

DOES NOT fit in the iphone and even if you shave it down to fit it still doesnt recgonize it.

I should've read the reviews first. Unfortunately I was tricked in the same way. This does NOT work with the iPhone's recessed port and apparently shaving it down or using an adapter doesn't help any. Don't buy this product unless you want a cable for the IPOD instead.

I bought this so I could transfer netflix from my phone to my tv and it works great. I have a Tmobile HTC Mytouch 4g slide.

It's a 3.5-RCA cable. That's it. Just because it's white doesn't make it special.
Be advised this will not work with many/most newer iPod/iPhone models. To do video
out on those devices, you have to have a proprietary Apple cable.
I bought this for a Zune I had and it worked great. Not the case with my iPod Nano or Touch though.

This does not work with newer ipods; it does work on our older one and it works great. Easy to use and not too expensive.

Im very satisfied with this video cable. It does the job, its at a super nice price, compared to the ones I looked at in electronic stores. Im great I got this cable now I can watch all my videos from my galaxy s into my tv. I had no problems or anything.

I use this with my iPod video and it displays all my movies with perfect sound on my TV. No complaints the product does exactly what it's supposed to do.

This item works great with both my HTC Touch Pro phone (using the headphone adapter and the free EnableTVOutCab software) and my 30 Gig Zune. The color coding on the RCA connectors is correct for both devices.

I have been using this product for three years to show media from my 5th generation ipod in classrooms and other venues through the VCR connection. It is very sturdy and does the job well. It's not a bad idea to read the specs before investing the princely sum of $3.99.
