Title says all, just plug n' play. I lost no quality over my sound connection and mind you my sound goes from a Xbox 360 (Red/White sound cables) to a converter, to this coupler, to another converter, and to a 5.1 speaker system.

Yeeeaaaaah.

Does what a 3.5mm jack female-female suppose to do. kinda hard to put the male in thought.

Does what it is supposed to do. I never noticed any issues plugging in either side, although at first it may seem like it requires a little extra force. Works perfectly and I don't hear any sort of interference from this coupler.

I've had no problems whatsoever with this adapter. It works well and has been a life saver for me when trying to configure my entertainment center to play audio from my laptop.

When I rec'd. this coupler and it didn't fit AT ALL...the male plugs wouldn't go in all the way, and then were loose and wiggly, I figured I must have ordered the wrong thing. But I checked my order and couldn't see my error. Now after reading the other negative reviews complaining about the same problem, I think I'll spend a few dollars more at Radio Shack, and not ruin my male plugs. I guess that's what you get for a buck and a half, go figure!

Upon having to push rather hard to get a normal 3.5mm plug in that fits into my iPod and other devices no problem, the insides of the coupler came out as I tried to unplug the plug. Radio Shack hada coupler that worked right the very first time. Maybe I got a bad one, but it was so cheap, I didn't bother returning it and just chucked it.

I ordered 2 of these. Figure cheap, ok, it'll do the job. Well, one didn't even allow a male plug to fit into it,
and the other fit at a very odd angle before it went in straight and then decided to scratch the hell out of my male plug.

Total and complete garbage.
I know it's cheap, but it should be at least somewhat usable. I junked them 3 minutes after they arrived.
Off to Frys or Radio Shack I go.
