I don't actually use this cable to connect speakers or headphones to an audio source.

I use this cable to transmit dry contact closures from switches and relays to remote cameras and flash equipment for sports photography.

But I can still rate the product on several bases.
1. Does it work at all?
yes. There is continuity on all three conductors all the way through all six of the cables I recieved.
2. Is the cable of decent qaulity?
Yes. The cable is actually of AMAZINGLY high quality. Its thick heavy cable that I can tell will definitely be with me for a while. This cable is acctually of much higher quality that a name brand 20-ft audio cable that i bought for ten time the price of this.
3. Are the connectors of high quality?
Yes. Again, VERY high quality, surpassing that of the expensive name brand cable. Good positive click on both ends and it wont come undone unless you want it to.

Bottom line?
I don't know how well these cable perform for transmitting audio but YES YES YES. if you have any device that has a stereo miniphone connector, or build and modify your own electronics with them like me, this is the best few buck you will ever spend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I attached this cable to my stereo receiver via an RCA adapter. There was a minor fall off of volume and treble. It is easy to compensate for this with the volume and treble controls, if you wish. The cable was sturdy enough to force under the room baseboard, giving a clean appearance. When the cable is connected to an MP3 player or computer that is on there is no noise. When these devices are off or the cable is unplugged from a device, the cable generates a hum through the stereo. I use the cable to provide good quality sound for movies played on my computer; it is a great improvement over computer speakers. Overall, a great addition for little money.

I haven't noticed any sound degradation while using this. While jogging on the treadmill, I watch movies on my plasma TV through my laptop, and I use this cable to pump the sound through the treadmill speakers (and thereby can avoid having to turn the TV up too load). Good product on the cheap.

I bought these to plug in a Recording Device thats on the other side of the Room , Instead of Running Wires all over the place , your just running one wire . You might loose alittle sound , But not enough to Worry about , its Great if You Need to plug in Something Quickly

Basic stereo headphone extension cable. Couldn't beat the price. Delivered fast. Great price. Does the job. Anything more to say?

One of my old habits before meeting my wife was to fall asleep to movies, cartoons, whatever that would be running on my computer. Watching reruns of my favorite shows puts me to sleep, what can I say. However my wife has never been amused by that, and has always protested it. So I looked long and hard for a solution, thinking about wireless headphones and a bluetooth or FM transmitter running from the computer, which will run $50 to $100.

Sure I could have afforded that, but why buy it when you don't have to. Instead I found this extension cable which runs quite a bit longer than needed, and wired it under the bed, around the wall, behind my desk, and into the headphone port built into the speakers. All I can say is, I'm happy I decided to go this route. The sound quality is excellent, the quality of the connections on the cable are excellent and tight fitting. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase and my wife sleeps happy now as well. :P

I strongly recommend this to anyone/everyone, never know when you might need it and it doesn't break the bank!

It works amazingly great for how cheap it is! I've had this for over 3 months and it STILL works which is not what I can say about other versions that I bought.

This product is perfect for all standard recording needs, sure it may not be a hd cord but it has clear sound and doesn't hurt your wallet, I love how long it is, but if your looking for something to carry around in your pocket, this is not your product.

This product is in my opinion absolute comparable to audio cables which are sold by Radio Shack at a substantially higher price.

I bought this so that i could plug in my laptop and ipod into my stereo system. This is a great deal!There is very little audio loss. The cable is pretty long and seems pretty durable. All in all, it was well worth the money.
