Assam Summer Tips are a flavourful tea with a high percentage of golden buds (or Tips). Its ideal combination of taste & aroma makes it a tea more prized than Darjeeling in some countries.
High Elevation Assam is slightly stronger than Assam Tips, and darker in leaf appearance. It is a nice rich tea, recommended with a little milk.
Assam CTC (or Cut Torn Curled), is the most widely used variety globally. CTC yields heavy body instead of fine flavor. The dark granular leaves boiled in water ensure a strong cup at the most economical price. Great for chai, this tea is a staple in many countries when served with milk in the morning.".
