I don't normally review items but I just thought the last reviewer might mislead someone to think that this album is all rock/rap music. I actually don't see any resemblance between Calogero and Linkin Park-- he only has the rock/rap style for one song. In fact most of his songs are melody driven, and are a mixture of rock numbers and ballads. That however does not change the fact that this is a great album by one of France's top artists.

This cd is a magnificent exposition of the true talent of European musical artists. I partly understand the French language, and the lyrical content combined with the driving music is really touching and heart wrenching at times. Songs like "Si Seulement Je Pouvais Lui Manqer", "Il Bat", and "Qui Parlait" stand out as songs that can really place you in a different mood. I recommend any music by Calogero for not only its depth in spoken artistry, but also beautiful music. I only wish that I could give a 6 Star rating.

I am French and honestely I have never been big on Calogero but this album is just brilliant. Different types of music, face a la mer is a wonderful song. Try it! Good CD for home relaxing and dinner background.

This CD is great, I've had it for a while and am still listening to it.

If you're into a rock/rap blend of music, try the Face a la Mer song. It's my favorite on this CD.
