3 Gallon Glass Bottle

Customer Questions & Answers

Customer Reviews

I love drinking water out of glass containers.
Boula
It is made of heavy crystal-clear thick glass in a rectangular "plaid" design -- from a distance it almost looks like cut glass.
Anne Chang
It's perfect, the size is small enough to carry, but big enough to hold a good amount of water.

Glass is the ONLY thing that I trust when it comes to anything liquid. I don't care how hi-tech the plastic is and how "chemical proof" the container is mother nature glass is still the only way to go. However. the shipping is expensive albeit understandable. The cap is cheesy. Need to find a better alternative for a better cap. Glass is imported from Italy and it is very beautifully made. Still can't get over the cheap cap. For the price. You can find a better cap.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I am so happy to put our delicious water into this glass bottle for my cooler. I love drinking water out of glass containers. No chemical leakage and great , pure taste. It is heavy when filled with water, so I was glad I purchased the 3 gal. instead of the 5 gal. Water looks so refreshing in the clear glass, instead of the blue plastic.

I bought this bottle to check it out for future use. I have a new small vineyard and hope to be making some wine in a couple more years. In the meanwhile I replaced my plastic water bottle on my cooler with this glass bottle and it is perfect. It looks really nice and it is healthier to do away with plastic for any liquid that you drink. This company has all the gear for making beer and wine and fair pricing. I shopped around before I bought. And did I mention the fast delivery? I could not believe how fast this product arrived. Enough said.

I bought this bottle for my new water distiller Water Distiller, Countertop, White Enamel, Glass Collection and put it on my crock dispenser. It is a really nice looking bottle. The water looks (and tastes) even more refreshing inside the glass. It weighs about 52 lbs when full to the top, 12 lbs when empty. I plan on storing my water in these bottles. Be careful, do not attempt to move the full bottle when the outside is wet because it gets slippery. Otherwise it was easier to put on the dispenser than I thought.

After many years of using polycarbonate bottles, I was delighted to find this lovely glass alternative. It is made of heavy crystal-clear thick glass in a rectangular "plaid" design -- from a distance it almost looks like cut glass. Its appearance is really a bonus, as the two main reasons to get this bottle is to avoid the potential toxins from polycarbonate and to be able to clean/sanitize the bottle more easily than you can a plastic bottle. I believe our bottle shipped literally one hour after ordering and arrived in perfect condition several days later. Of course, as expected, it is more difficult to handle than the polycarbonate water bottle as it is so much heavier and does not have an actual handle, but it's a small inconvenience for the other benefits of glass.

These bottles don't come with caps, but caps from plastic water bottles fit well enough. I'd been using plastic bottles for several years, but wanted to change over to glass. After reading reviews here and seeing where the bottles come from, a homebrewing supply store in Ohio, I decided to check with my local homebrewing store, Northern Brewer in Minnesota. They had the same exact bottles, for $2 less than here, AND I didn't have to pay shipping! The bottles work great, look great, and, like I said, the caps from the plastic bottles fit. They're wonderful! I would check with your local homebrewing supply store to see if they have them. They're called carboys. Be aware, though, that they don't have handles, so you need to be able to pick them up full of water and put them on your water cooler without the use of a handle. Water weighs 8 lbs/gallon and the bottle weighs probably about 10 lbs (I don't have a scale to weigh it, but I know it's more than 5 lbs). Of course, you don't have to fill it all the way, if it's too heavy when full.

I have been trying to get rid of plastics in my life, so this 3 gallon bottle is what I use with my water cooler. This is good quality glass and once filled it is heavy. Glad I bought the 3 gallon size because I would have a hard time lifting and carrying the 5 gallon bottle once it was filled.

It's so good to be able to buy products that I'm reasonably sure will not harm my family. With so many dangerous items coming out of China, I can say that I love this Italian glass! Old school in the best sort of way, simply, reasonably light, with an appearance of hand-made about it.
