I've been listening to thumb for almost two years now. This album is AMAZING!!! Not only do they have the talent to keep your head bobbin, they combine it with a heavy drive that would tear apart any of "Carson Daily's" most requested.

There are very few bands worthy of the support I'm STILL giving these guys. Once you hear the singers voice and the music backing him you're hooked! I love this band sooooo much I dropped a cd by our local radio station in Salt Lake. Now four radio stations around here are playing them.

BUY THE CD AND SPREAD THE WORD!!! GET THUMB ON YOUR LOCAL STATIONS!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Cd Of 2001 By A Band You Have Never Heard Of !, October 2, 2002

Once in a great while a cd makes it's way into your cd player and never leaves. This is one of those cd's.
Thumb "3" is definately the bands greatest musical achievement thus far. By combining metal & hip-hop to perfection they have created an awesome listening experience. If you listen to bands like Linkin Park, Adema & so on, you can't help but love this album. Even if you listen to heavier bands this is a must have cd. The chorus's are super catchy ala Linkin Park and every song is gauranteed to make you move or feel something. One of the greatest benefits of this album is that every single song is good.
The album is also very original sounding. They have thier own sound and the singer doesn't sound like anybody else, which is good because in todays music alot of bands could swap vocalists and you would never know.
Finally, it absolutely amazes me that a band that puts out an album this good is not huge. Thumb "3" stands a thousand feet above most new-school bands out today. So do yourself a big favor and pick up this cd!

5.0 out of 5 stars Who says foreigners can't rock?, February 18, 2002

I first heard Thumb's "Break Me" on an old snowboard movie I bought a while ago. I would watch the video just to get to the part where Thumb played. Their music flows like nothing I've heard before, all while maintaining enough hardcore vocals, guitar chords, and intense drum beats that meet or exceed most (if not all) of the mainstream stuff out there. It's a wonder these guys aren't touring with big-name bands on big-name tours (Vans Warped Tour maybe?). Buy this album--you won't be disappointed. Also check out their premiere called "Exposure".

This CD is very good. I first heard of Thumb in Germany, and i bought the CD and i was impressed. The songs are all very original and they do a good job of combining all the music and it sounds great! I highly recommend buying this CD if you are into heavy/hard rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Band, January 2, 2002
This review is from: 3 (Audio CD)
I have been into these guys for years and i think they are great. They do the rap/metal thing well, not like limp bizkit who does it very poorly. They have a hard rock sound with turntables and an good vocalist. Sometimes the lyrical content is a little depressing but they balance it out with up lifting songs like "confidence." Overall one of my favorite bands and definitly one of my favorite cd's and well worth checking out if your into hardrock/hardcore
