Zero Starts Worst Service Ever,

Never order LG premium care extended service on an appliance. I wish I had saved myself the time and money. We have a LG dryer that was just over a year old when it stopped working. No problem I figure since we have the extended care plan. WRONG! We filed a claim with LG premium care it took them almost a month to send us a service repairman. The repairman they finally sent us was incompetent. He came out 5 times and was never able to fix the dryer. He replaced almost every part and left the dryer in pieces littered all over the garage. He finally says he needs to replace the wiring harness which is the piece he thought needed replacing all along when LG premium care decides it is too expensive. They refuse to replace the unit or reimburse us for the value. It is there common policy to offer a buyout which would only give us about $100 back on a $700 unit. They claim the money was eaten through because of all the repairs. It is common practice to replace the cheapest item first then work their way up. This leaves you with no money left when the get to the real problem.Read the contract this company is out to SCREW you over. They customer service representatives are not helpful and even though we have been told we will be getting a call back on 4 separate occasions no one ever calls back.

Just wanted to say thanks to LG Premium Care!! Our LG TV we purchased a few years ago went dark one day. We called LG Premium Care on a Sunday and by Tuesday had a new TV at our doorstep with even better features! Thanks to the Premium Care plan, I received a brand new LG TV - and guess what, I bought the LG Premium Care plan again!!

I'm glad I had a warranty when my TV failed. I got great customer service and the servicer was very professional. I would highly recommend buying a service plan.
