I bought this book along witht he book "ASVAB Basics" and found this book to be a great supplement to the ASVAB Basics book. I recommend studying fromt the ASVAB Basics Book first then study from this book. I found the questions in this book to be harder then what is on the actula exam which made the actual ASVAB easier. I also found that a few of the questions in this book was on the actual exam itself (manily from the Word Knowledge and Arithmetic sections). I needed a GT score of 110 to get into Officer candidate School and ended up getting a 120! This book ROCKS!!

I took the ASVAB in early January before I started my final college term (I'll have an AA in May). I bought this book, and another book. However, this was the only one I had before I took the test. All I did was read and scan hours before test on my ride to the entrance area.
I had actually forgotten most of the information I learned about electronics, but with the help of this book: My total score was an 82. I got an 88 in Admin, a 90 in electronics, a 76 in General, and a 58 in mechanics (Which I don't don't know anything about). I did surprisingly well. I didn't get the kind of position that was a perfect fit for my score (Because my recruiter kept pushing AIRCREW in my face instead of something like biomedical technology *Laughs*), but I qualified for 146 out of 150 jobs. That review of the electronic section may have been the reason my score was so great. This book definitely helped me. I haven't stopped college at anytime after high school, but I still needed to review some topics that I haven't gone over in awhile. It definitely helped me.

I bought this book for my son who is trying to enlist in the Air Force. He said the book is extremely helpful and doing the the day-to-day activities is easy to do rather than reading a 500 page book with no activities in between. I would recommend this book. He hasn't taken the ASVAB yet, but the book so far is giving him insight as to how the test will be.
