The best cookery writer alive today!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The 30-Minute Cook: The Best of the World's Quick Cooking (Paperback)
I have all of Nigel Slater's books and they are my most used cookery books out of a collection of hundreds. He is really funny (if your sense of humour understands Two Fat Ladies) and I enjoy browsing through them for light entertainment. The food is fresh, tasty, fast and easy. His pudding book is a revelation if you need to make something fast and are a nonpudding maker who usually relies on fruit! Suitable for anyone - amateur to professional.

Recommended this by a friend and, just as reading alone, it is fantastic. It is difficult to ignore his passion for the subject, and he is a man who clearly knows his ingredients.AND the food it makes is fantastic - have only tried 3 so far, but they were amazing considering the cooking time. As my friend recommended, so I pass on - this book is superb! |
