You need this book. Yes, you really need it if you are living the average American's life of constant work, errands, responsabilities, and more work.

All you need is about half an hour of time, some crayons, gel pens, colored pencils or paints and you will have some amazingly intensive stress relief that will take you away -- just lift you up out of that...

You need this book. Yes, you really need it if you are living the average American's life of constant work, errands, responsabilities, and more work.

All you need is about half an hour of time, some crayons, gel pens, colored pencils or paints and you will have some amazingly intensive stress relief that will take you away -- just lift you up out of that dark cloud that envelops you and take you to a higher plane of bliss!

I can't recommend this book more highly. The paper quality is good and the results are absolutely guaranteed. They say you can't buy happiness, but for just a few dollars, you can buy 30 minutes of it, and that's for sure!

Treat yourself to 30-Minute Mandalas Coloring Book: Active Meditation for the Mind and Body OR Easy Meditation Through Coloring today. The title says it all. Bliss is yours!

This book is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be! The designs are great and the paper is good quality for markers or colored pencils. I was able to complete each one in under 30 minutes and it felt meditative and creative at the same time. I highly recommend it for everyone! I hope the author makes more because my seven year old keeps "borrowing" it.

I didn't really know what a Mandela was, but the cover of this book intrigued me. It reminded me of stained glass or the shapes and patterns created in a kaleidoscope. "30 Minute Mandalas" gave me the chance to explore my creative instincts by infusing my own color sense into each design, while just "chilling out". I was surprised just how calming coloring these beautiful designs can be. The paper quality is so good, that I'm tempted to frame a few of my best efforts. I enjoyed this book so much, I bought extra copies to share. Hope the author is planning another book.

I have bought many, many mandala coloring books, and mandala information books. This coloring book is fine for a quick creativity fix - which is exactly what it is designed for. I recommend it for this feature. The smaller, simpler mandalas can still be colored beautifully and creatively. For more elaborate mandala coloring I have to recommend Susanne F. Fincher's series of three books "Coloring Mandalas". They are spiral bound and are large format with more intricate designs. Another good book is "Everyone's Mandala Coloring Book" by Monique Mandali.

As a little girl I always enjoyed coloring books and never realized how calming this activity could be. Now as a grown woman full of life's stresses I find that Michelle Normand's "30 Minute Mandalas" is a great way to relieve pressure and nervous tension. I hope there will be more from this author.

These were a gift for a young woman that was fond of Mandalas but had never seen an actual book... She LOVED these. Every time I go to see her she shows me her latest. I'd say this is a wonderful book for calming the spirit and soothing the soul!

I'll be the first to admit that I might not understand the point of these. As I understand it, the point is to peacefully color these mandalas in a relaxed environment. But as a generally relaxed person, there's no way one of these is going to take 30 minutes to complete, unless you're constantly being interrupted. And an environment like that is going to cancel out any benefit gained from this.

Honestly, there's just not that much coloring to do on any one page; one per page, instead of the larger quantities suggested by the cover.

But, that's me. This was a gift for my mom, that my sister recommended, and she seemed pleased to get it. However, I think they were both more impressed by the other coloring book that was purchased - Between the Lines: Volume 2.

3 stars since the individual this was purchased for seemed to enjoy it, but I don't see it providing too much relaxation.
