I purchased this for my 13 year old son - he really enjoys it. The boat is pretty fast and easy to operate. It is a good deal for the money.

My son asked me to buy him an rc boat so we picked this one. It takes 5 hours to charge the battery but only runs for 15 minutes which is perfect for a parent. The boat does leak a small amount of water inside so make sure you open it up and dry it out and then leave it uncovered after you use it to prevent corrosion to the electronics. It looks cool in the water and rides well. For the price, I am very happy. These days kids tire of toys so quickly, you don't want to spend too much on something like this which I consider an expensive toy. Also it is built well but would be easy to break if you aren't careful. Treat it with care, it's an rc model boat, not a toy you can abuse.

Our son and I ran the boat two times about 10 minutes each time. It was great fun and the boating experience exceeded expectations. However, at the end of the second run the controller stoppped working, the boat continued to run uncontrollably and we almost lost the boat. Only 20 minutes of fun for a $50.00 boat is totally unacceptable. We are very dissatisfied with the product. We emailed the seller and never heard from them.
