Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Do you ever surprise yourself with your decisions? Do you ever look back on situations and wonder how things might have turned out if you had considered the consequences before you acted?

We've all done it! We have made bad decisions and paid for them. This is "decision debt" and it's the kind of debt that we need to eliminate. Too many times we think about things only after it's too late to avoid the negative consequences. We'd like to think we are innocent victims of a big, bad world, but we know that's not true. I am responsible for the bad decisions I make.

As you read this book, you'll understand why it's so hard for us to make good decisions. You'll be introduced to a way of thinking that will revolutionize your decision-making processes. So, whether you are trying to decide if that cupcake is a good idea or if you are wanting to make the right decision about a new car, 30 Seconds to Chaos will be a valuable tool.

Though based on biblical principles, this book will introduce you to the TILE decision-making process. When you learn to take thirty seconds and work through the TILE process, you'll discover just how relevant biblical principles are to everyday life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why I wrote this book, January 27, 2012
This review is from: 30 Seconds to Chaos (Kindle Edition)
Chaos is a condition or place of great disorder or confusion. That pretty much sums up our world, doesn't it? We live in a world where people think they are victims of situations over which they had no control. Rather than change their thinking processes, they keep doing what they've always done. That's when "decision debt" starts piling up. As a nation, we are living with the "decision debt" of leaders who made bad choices. As individuals, the story is the same except for the fact that we made the choices.

30 Seconds to Chaos is a way to change the way you think about everything in life. It reorients your perspective, redefines your purpose, and reconnects you with the kind of thinking that changes everything. This isn't a theological treatise because I really don't know many big words; this is simply my way of seeing my mistakes and my encouragement to you to avoid as much chaos as possible.
