30-day BootCamp: Your Ultimate Weight Loss Plan is an amazing book and a wonderful way of life. As Valerie Vauthey says, you have to be ready to lose the weight, but if you are, and follow Valerie's bootcamp, the weight just falls off. And, it's actually fun, because Valerie Vauthey thinks of everything and makes it easy. And it is totally healthy.

I was so excited to start my bootcamp! However, during the first week I was only able to follow the diet plan once! Granted, when I cheated I did so with healthy foods. I understand she wanted us to do a cleanse on the 2nd day, but ALL you have are 3 glasses of (disgusting tasting) juice, tea and water. I was so hungry and tired! I checked my BMR (which is 1700) and...

30-day BootCamp: Your Ultimate Weight Loss Plan is an amazing book and a wonderful way of life. As Valerie Vauthey says, you have to be ready to lose the weight, but if you are, and follow Valerie's bootcamp, the weight just falls off. And, it's actually fun, because Valerie Vauthey thinks of everything and makes it easy. And it is totally healthy.

But beware: The results of this book might be that you find yourself jumping out of bed every morning and running to a mirror to see how thin you have gotten during the night. You might find yourself with a new and unusual desire to rush to stores and spend money you werent planning to spend and buy bikinis and tops that show off your belly button.

You may find yourself with a new boyfriend or a newly ardent husband. In other words....this book works.

This is a great find. Though not advertized anywhere apart from on the website of the author I think this is the ultimate way to finally develop healthy habits that will support a permanent weight loss. I would like to recommend this book to all desesperate dieters who are fed up with the yearly load of crazy1 diet, crazy2 diet, new1 diet, and new2 diet! To your health! Margaret

I love this book! It is simple to follow, makes sense and feels like it is personalized just for me! What a great concept. All I need is right in the book - what to eat, how to exercise, menus and even a tracking system that can help me hold myself accountable to my commitment. It offers the equivalent of a dietician, personal trainer and life coach all in one package. Genius!!

Great guideline to jumpstart my lifestyle change. I try not to say "diet" anymore. Because this change in my daily eating habits and workout regimen are not temporary, it's a everyday challenge. I take one day at a time. I listen more to my body, and I go at my own pace. I should have bought a juicer years ago. I love my juicer and I love my healthy lifestyle efforts now.

I enjoyed this program. There were some days when the food seemed foreign to me and at times the portions felt inadequate, but I truly looked forward to the "wonders" of the next meal. I plan to do it again at the beginning of Spring.

I was so excited to start my bootcamp! However, during the first week I was only able to follow the diet plan once! Granted, when I cheated I did so with healthy foods. I checked my BMR (which is 1700) and on her diet I was NOT hitting that number, ever! If I had the kind of will power to STARVE to begin with, I wouldn't need a bootcamp. If you can handle 3 small meals (or juice) a day then you may want to give this a shot, but I couldn't do it. This was the first time I've had such a difficult time with an eating plan (I've done Weight Watchers & Body for Life before --- maybe I should have done those instead!). Does Valerie (the author) even have credentials beyond being a "Celebrity Coach"? Her website was clearly all about training new coaches. I can't understand all the raving reviews (are these other coaches she trained?) I felt scammed. I wish I could return this book (but I already wrote in it). The only plus was the increase in fruits & veggies, I noticed an improvement in my skin and mood because of them (but I didn't need a diet to tell me this).
