This book is not at all what I was expecting.The websites and ideas are very well known and some such as etoys do not even exsist anymore!It is very outdated and I think anyone who is at all familiar with the web knows about such sites as ivillage.It also gives you lists of very well known beauty,parenting and magazine sites.If you are looking for a book that will give you fresh ideas and fresh little known innovative sites this is not the book for you.Stick with a search engine and save yourself the money.You might even find better sites using a search engine!If you are very new to the web and need a very basic guidebook then this is for you.It is a great starting point.I am actually going to give this book to my Mother in law who has never surfed the web.That is about all it is useful for.

As a woman in her twenties, I found Ken Leebow's book, 300 Incredible things for Women on the Internet, extremely helpful. It enlightened me with very useful information from beauty, to decorating my new apartment, to hosting a great party, to interview tips on finding a great new job to jump-start my career. I would 100% recommend this book, along with the rest of the series, to everyone I know! Not only did this book have pertinent information for women my age, but it also applied to every kind of woman: teens, mothers and executives. I know that I will definately consult this book before I do almost anything, online or off!

Robyn Spizman and Ken Leebow provide 300 classifications with several URLs included in each classification pertaining to items that female surfers would find useful. The book contains the addresses of over 1000 sites and though it is titled "...For Women ...", men will enjoy using this reference guide.

I tested a few in areas of personal interest to include several in the Health field and a few Home Repair sites, but I did not look for anything related or remotely involved in books. The sites are informative, easy to tour, and for the most part friendly. For those readers who can use a bit of assistance similar to a brief Yellow Pages this book is a very good tool. So for that matter is similar books offered at the 300 Incredible Things Internet site.

WOW! This book is absolutely amazing. I have been using the internet for a while now, but this guide makes everything so much easier. From beauty to home decorating to taking care of the kids to investment information to cooking, this book offers the very best resource for any type of information that I might need. I especially liked the chapter on medical and fitness information, it had many new and easy-to-use sites that would be helpful for all women. This book is a must-have for all women today!

This book makes surfin' simple whether you are looking for specifics or "just lookin"! I check it whenever I go shopping online for gifts or information. The book is also catagorized which makes everything easy to find. It sits beside the computer!

This book is incredible! From the best beauty secrets to planning a family, investment strategies to cancer awareness, 300 Incredible Things for Women on the Internet has it all! I never go "surfing" without a copy nearby as a guide for the best sites available on the Web. This book series has truly made the Internet a much more exciting, fun and helpful asset for me and all the friends I've recommended them to. Thanks!
