5.0 out of 5 stars Cheapest version I could find and it actually works
These were EXTREMELY cheap compared to the $3-$10 each I found around town. I ordered 10 to make several digital antennas (don't buy one at the store when you can build one for $5 that works 10x better). One of the transformers twisted coax connector loose when I connected the wire to it, but it still works. They all work just fine, so I'm happy with them. These are...

1.0 out of 5 stars Too cheap
Bought 2 of these 75 to 300 ohm matching transformers. One arrived with a completely rusted terminal connection to one wire. Both units were unusable for me as I needed to screw a connection onto the threaded end. The unit was so cheap that the threads and threaded end were made too small and a threaded coax would not hold. It might work for someone who wanted to use...

These are great for hooking up just about any coax output component to a very old TV or as I used them, to build an antenna - check out makezine.tv or just google it. Looks weird, but it works amazingly better than a powered name-brand antenna I purchased from a large department store (to remain nameless, but rhymes with Ball-Cart).

Both units were unusable for me as I needed to screw a connection onto the threaded end. The unit was so cheap that the threads and threaded end were made too small and a threaded coax would not hold. It might work for someone who wanted to use a push-on connector. Too much trouble to return, will throw away.

I got these to build HDTV antennas (technically UHF antennas). There are plans on the internet to use pieces of wire and a transformer like this to build them. they work very well, and the price is negligible.

I bought this little guy to build an antennae. Its cheap, seems well built enough, and does the job. I don't regret the purchase.

It works as intended. It allowed me to get only one channel. But I build my own antenna with materials I had at home.

It works for my antenna to receive local HDTV signals. I give it a 4 stars since the two wires are very thin.
