5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fit and Comfort
I've had this sheet set for four months now, and it's probably the best sheet purchase I've ever made. Thanks to the stretchy panels on the ends, these sheets stay ON the bed no matter what. I also really like the larger size of the flat sheet - it stays tucked in and the extra width makes it harder for cover hogs to steal it all. I was skeptical about the small end flap...

If you are looking for a sheet that stays put on your mattress then this sheet set will serve your purpose, BUT, if you also want a sheet set that is soft you need to look elsewhere.

I was skeptical about the small end flap on the pillowcases, but it does seem to keep the pillow in the case a little better.

The sheets are very comfortable and soft. The feel is not silky smooth, but they're not scratchy at all and I've had no pilling problems. The sheets launder well - there's been no apparent shrinkage. The bottom sheet does need extra time in the dryer because of the stretch panels. They do come out of the dryer a bit wrinkled, but hello, they're cotton...I'm not one to iron my sheets anyway.

I'll be buying a second set shortly. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a deep mattress.

The sheets feel very soft when you first remove them from the package but after one wash (following the instructions) they come out very stiff and scratchy. These sheets don't feel like 300 count...or even a 180 thread count. I am very disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality At An Affordable Price, October 21, 2005

These sheets live up to the high ratings given to them by Consumer Reports. Have a great feel, comfy and sleek. Much nicer than the 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets we purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond which pilled after only a few months.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holy Sheets!!, October 25, 2005

These are absolutely wonderful sheets. I've tried a bunch and these are topps. The best part for me is not the comfort, which is great but also something you can find in any higher priced sheet, but these stay on the bed no matter what! They grip the lower mattress and stay. No moving, they fit great and are the best. I'm crazy for these sheets. Only wish they had more color or pattern choices.

4.0 out of 5 stars 3 month review, January 2, 2006

It's been apprx. 3 months since I purchased these sheets, and can safely say, they are the BEST sheets I've ever had. What kept them from 5 stars is that, with repeated washings, they've faded a bit. They were this intense blue when new and are now a soft navy, not unpleasant, but not the original color either. Now, the good stuff. They fit completely around the mattress, which is 20" thick, like a glove. There is enough material with the top sheet to actually tuck it under the mattress. However, the pillowcases are my favorite, you put them on like a sham(the opening down the back, instead of on the side)so no worries about the pillow falling out or the fabric of the pillow showing. This is the first time I have purchased sheets online and luckily I found the perfect ones first time out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a fitted sheet that FITS!!, November 21, 2005

When we purchased our new Sealy King pillowtop mattresses, we did not realize how really "thick" the top mattress was. After going through several "deep pocket" sets, we now have a set that actually fits! As expensive as King sheet sets are, I know I will buy this type again...especially at that price. The one thing I have learned is if your top mattress is 18" and you buy a sheet set that says it will fit "up to 18", you are going to be sadly disappointed. You won't be with this set!

Spandex at the top and bottom are great. But should have done it all the way around. Especially since the side elastic doesn't feel like it will hold up for the long haul and the sides are a little short on my bed to tuck deep. But my bed is Cal King and 16" deep on the mattress and I like a really tight sheet getting started. The feel isn't silk but not cheap either. These sheets were #1 in consumer reports. I bought this sheet to replace those that cost twice as much and had virtually no elastic strength left. I feel like I got twice as good a product for half the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars very comfortable, top quality & definitely the "Best Fit", September 17, 2005
I have a Eurotop mattress and it was hard to find a good fit; this did the job. I bought 3 sets and I am very pleased. It's also a good deal if you buy over $125 and get the $25 off..

The fitted bottom sheet fits my 18" mattress well.
Some pilling occured, which I was able to remove with
a d-fuzz-it sweater/fabric comb.

I purchased these sheets because Consumers Reports rated them very highly. These are not the same as a $400 set of high grade luxury hotel type sheets. The material is thin and soft but lacks that luxurious feel one would like to have in a set of sheets. Still good value for the money.
