This book was given to me as a gift. At first glance I thought it to be just another devotional or book of prayers. I was wrong. The introduction is superb in its description of prayer, holding great definitions of our privileged job of talking to our Creator. The practical, personal testimonies of this introduction increase the credibility of the co-authors. The introduction made me want to keep on turning the pages. I was not disappointed. The day by day guides were fresh, succinct and personally very helpful for me. Having the numbered days insured my success in keeping track if I got behind. I wanted to cover all the issues. I like this book so much that I am ordering copies for my whole family so that we can use the guide together this summer. I'm also ordering a few more to have on hand for gifts. It is always valuable to have quality books to give away that I know will truly help another grow closer to the Savior.

This book is excellent in every way - practical, helpful, encouraging, easy to identify with and definitely encourages a deeper and more satisfying relationship with God. Very well written -

An excellent start for those who want their prayer life to extend beyond praying for "me and mine." Also, great for new believers who are trying to get started in their prayer relationship with our wonderful Lord. Each day's selection includes scriptures referenced in that prayer, so it could be used as a devotional taking one into the Word as well. I will keep this little book and use it several times.

This book really helps in your walk with god , it is clear , teachable , and really helps you in growing closer with the lord. For those who are beginning to walk with Jesus it is a great encouragement. I would recommend this book to family and friends.

If Prayer is a passion -- one of my passions is prayer. This little book "31 days of prayer" by Ruth an Warren Myers was given to me as a gift by one of my prayer partners. It is simply wonderful. My copy is highlighted, underlined, written in with different colors, and has exclamation points and astericks thoughout. There is a different prayer and extra thoughts for each day of the month. Each prayer is written using the words of our God. They are powerful and touch your spirit. It is amazing how they speak into your life and circumstances at just the right time. The subtitle of this book if "moving God's mighty hand"; Ruth and Warren Meyers share these personal prayers in which they have seen and lived seeing the mighty hand of God move in their lives. It can also move in yours.

For less than half the cost of a new book I purchased this one. It is in good condition and certainly no damage to its readability. It was recommended to me by a long time friend who is going through it again because she found it so good. I'm looking forward to continued reading. I am encouraged by this book that prays Gods word back to Him. I'm sure He loves to hear us acknowledge who He is. Thank You

I love to pray. I've always loved to pray. But this book has reminded me to pray for others as well as myself...constantly...every day. It has also taught me to use the Word for my prayer requests, giving me even more confidence as I pray knowing that I truly am praying God's will for myself and those around me. Myers encourages us to pray for all believers (actually, the Lord encourage us to do this in Scripture, and Myers simply reminds us of that). I've never done that before, I found it impersonal. But I've been praying through this book and it is amazing how the Spirit has allowed me to feel more united with brothers and sisters in Christ all around the world--people I won't meet until heaven. It's a wonderful book and will change your prayer life for good!
