31" Electric Panda Guitar with Amplifier

We bought this guitar for our 9 year old son who loves Panda's. I don't know much about the quality but it does turn on fine and the speaker works. Feels heavy (too heavy for a 4 -6 year old) and solid.

Our concern with this guitar is around the shipping and play-ability. It arrived wrapped in a light packaging foam in one box. This inner box was placed within a shipping box. We were very surprised that there wasn't bubble wrap or styrofoam to hold this securely during shipping. We were glad it wasn't noticibly damaged or worn. However, it was quite dusty.

Be warned this appears to be designed for left handed guitar players based on the guitar strap holder placement and general feel of the guitar. Although it arrives as shown in the picture, it would have been nice if this was pointed out or if an option was given for righty's.

It also arrived with guitar only, no paper work of any sort, guitar strap, or picks. We didn't even get a printed receipt that usually comes in our Amazon purchases.

I ordered this guitar for my son, who loves pandas and plays the guitar. It is unplayable and impossible to tune accurately. (I am a guitar player, collector and builder.) Do not buy.

This guitar is pretty much worthless.
As a semi-professional musician, my advice would be not to buy, however if you plan on going to college next year and don't want to bring a better guitar with you go ahead.
However you will need new strings (10 gauge or higher) You will need to tighten the neck (the four screws on the back of the guitar) and you will need to adjust the intonation (play with the bridge looking things at the base of the strings)
other than as a cheap guitar you don't have to worry about being stolen, this product is pretty terrible.
