This was not as I had requested, the battery half life wasn't as expected. I ended up getting an offer to ammend my comments but it was never followed up on. I have since had my computer crash so I don't need it anymore. It wasn't as promised but not enough to pursue getting my money back.

This battery came from California to Pennsylvania in two days on standard shipping. It's awesome, lasts long, charges quickly, and best of all, saves you over a $100 against ordering it from www.dell.com Works better than the last battery I bought from Dell for $150

Use:
Daily, student, travel, Inspiron 5100

Pros:
Better battery life than old dead Dell one!
Does not get too hot when charging (although the laptop has cooling issues)

Cons:
None at time of writing

Overall:
Having to replace a battery is a pain because of cost, but the Dekcell is a good deal.
