I ordered this mask and upon receving it...quite disppointing. It was boxed in a very narrow box, about an inch thick only. That compressed the mask, making it lose its original shape and creating creases in the latex. The yellow paint job on the Batman insignia is botched and has to be redone by hand because the black rubber latex show through it. The Batman "ears" are hollow and won't stand up as good as on the picture unless you reinforce them with cushion-like foam inside. They're also a little appart and not really straight like in the picture. The nose was also flattened by the poor boxing job so I to glue something hard inside in order to give it back it's straight shape. There's no holes for breathing under the nose piece so you have to perforate yourself in order to breathe ok. This thing is fabricated in China, so you can,t really blame the maufacturing defects or botching on the shop that sells it, but the shipping of such an item should be a little more cautious in order to avoid damaging an already cheap made mask. The rest of the costume, well, you have to figure a way to make it happen and for it to look great, as in movie-like, I think you,ll find you have to spend much money. All in all, this head piece is better looking than some alternatives if you like the Michael Keaton's Batman look and not the Kilmer, Clooney or Bale look.

I've been a Batman fan all my life. When I was a kid, (younger) I had a mask like this. Almost exactly like this. That was almost 15 years ago, so my memory is a little distorted.

This mask fits great; I would say it is good for ages 10 and up. The back has nice Velcro to make the mask easy to put on and remove without stretching itself, but it is not glued or sown in well.

Be too rough with it and it will come undone. The mask as a whole, after my first repair, stayed together well because it is made of a good rubber or rubber material.

My mask came with no holes for the nose. If you plan on an extended use of this mask, please add the holes as soon as you receive your shipment.

I got the mask for Halloween and other costume parties that might come up and I couldn't be happier with it for the price! It looks great and fits well. It did take some practice to figure out how to get it on since it was a little tight to get on. A tip is to try to put it on the back of your head and slide the mask forward. Once on it fits snug but is comfortable. I have a lot of hair right now and it fits over it all just fine. The mask holds its shape well but does take a little work to get the packing creases out of the ears but it doesn't take much to make it look right. Again great overall and personally I am very happy that I bought this mask one night on a drunken whim!

I've had several different style batman masks over the years, purchased from costume shops, ect. This is by far one of the better quality cowls I have seen, it has velcro up the back that fully encloses the head, and a full cowl that covers the neck and chest. The only downside, it is too small for anyone with a large head, while I could get it on, it was cutting off circulation and I've trying anything I can think of to stretch it out. All in a great price is you wear a hat that is smaller than 7 3/4, my skull is about 23 inches in diameter at my forehead. It will fit most normal sized people though. The rubber is very tough, it hasn't even ripped in the little breathing hole at the top in the back yet, but be warned it has no nose holes, so you will have to punch them out with something.

this mask was tight at first but it adjusted to the shape of my face after a few times of putting it on.it makes your chin and mouth look like batman in batman returns it rocks. and to make it fit the best I put it on and took a blow dryer on hot to it cause it looses the rubber.

1. The mask is awesome for the price !!!!!!!

2. It is a very high quality latex or rubber !!!!! Very durable.

3. My head is exactly 22 - 1/2" circumference and it fits very snug .... needs to stretch a little. If your head is 23" or higher I do not recommend it. At best the limit is 22 - 1/2 IMO. Actually 22" is best I think. So get your tape measures out!

4. The ears are very straight and pointy though hollow - no problem. Mine stand up perfectly straight unlike earlier reviews.

AWESOME MASK looks like the 1992 version of Batman.

When I actually managed to fit this mask over my head it seem to cut the blood from going to my head because of how tight it was. I have a big head, but my friend doesn't and it was small on him as well. If you can get it to fit you comfortably then its a decent Batman mask. Kids will love it. Other than the small size its a very good Batman mask from the Tim Burton films.

I really like this cowl, fits me perfect, nice and rigid features, not floppy like some masks. Only negatives are lack of nose holes, and the paint on the symbol is a little off. Overall really good.

Ordered it for Halloween to supplement a costume and was pleasantly surprised. The mask is much thicker and more durable than I expected. No creases from the packaging and I didn't need to stuff the ears at all. People were very impressed and kept telling me that I looked just like the "real" Batman.

It is not the most comfortable thing to have on, as you can imagine, and this is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. I took the suggestion of someone else's review and cut nose holes for breathing (thank you!). Still, by the end of the night I had some water dripping inside the cowl that turned out to be my condensed breath building up inside, and my face was creased from the mask.

I was very happy to get out of the cowl after about 5 hours, but it was definitely worth both the discomfort and the price.

By far the best Halloween costume I've had!

I love the mask's look. Looks exactly like Batman, but the only drawback is that it's too small for an adult's head. I could bearly get it on and it was way tight on the head. Might have to split the back to be able to wear it.
