318AF Slave Flash,

This review is from: 318AF Digital Slave Flash For Use For The Nikon D5000, D3000 Digital SLR Cameras (Electronics)
I got one of these in a camera kit when I purchased my D200. This flash is awful and I only use it in extreme conditions when I need to use a slave flash for sidelighting at odd angles. You cannot adjust EV exposure on the unit and it gives everything a bluish tint to it. Its' effective range is about 5' max and I do not recommend this flash for pros let alone hobbyists. The only reason that I use this flash, as I stated before, is for odd angles and if the product/client has a lot of silver on it. Once again, this flash is terrible and only good for certain applications. The slave function works fine, thus the 2 stars.

I am using it as backup flash on a Canon Powershot G10, and so far no problems.
