Glitter was one of the glam rock pioneers of the early 70s. His music is the bomb. Despite of what you hear in the press about Gary doesn't mean his music's bad. Sure, you might have heard "Rock and Roll Pt. 2", but have you heard the original version of "Do You Wanna Touch Me"? Or the rousing "I'm the Leader of the Gang"? Okay, how about "Ain't That a Shame"? Here's 32 good reasons to buy this CD. It's got good beat to it. So feel free to dance along.

This is the best Gary Glitter complation avalible, recomended! A+++++ 2 cds, 32 tracks from his 30 years at the top. Features the #1's "leader of the gang", "rock n roll", "i love you love me love" and "always yours" as well as other classic hit's such as "hello, hello, i'm back again", "do you wanna touch me?", "a little boogie woogie (in the back of my mind) and "another rock n roll christmas".

I tell you if your into good music from a few years ago, and you like something with a beat......Gary Glitter is the one. I had this in 8-track (yes, 8-track, before cassettes, and cd's) and this has got to be the greatest music around...I loved it then, and I still love it now. Whether your during house-work, or crusing in the car...this is it....believe me....try it. If your a hockey fan you recognize the song "rock 'n roll" as that is played at the NHL Hockey games....and this is a LADY writing this...try it...it will stay with you forever!!

This is two cd's of some of the greatest rock music ever recorded. There are very few artists today with this kind of talent, even fewer who could write, produce and sing a 2 Cd's hit's collection worth of this quality.

In a recent poll of the best singers of all time, Gary Glitter was named amough the top 30 and one listen to his music shows why.

While I am aware of his disguting activities in his private life, left to stand on it's own merits, the music is great.

Gary Glitter produced some of the best glam anthems. Yes his sexual history leaves alot to be desired, but separate the man from his music. If you want Gary Glitter in your Glam library without feeling bad, it's easy- buy second hand copies---You have the music and Gary doesn't receive any royalties! Glen

This CD is great. Back in 1972, Gary Glitter rocketed up the charts with "Rock N Roll" in the UK. He then took his brand of Glam Rock around to Europe, The USA and almost everywhere else in the world, with more follow-up hit's including the massive "Leader Of The Gang (Come On.. Come On..)" and "Do You Wanna Touch Me?". In 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975 he was on top of the world as hit followed hit. Since then, more hit's have come, many albums have been issued and re-issued, in the UK more than 1 in every 70 people has been to a Gary Glitter concert and millions and millions around the world have heard his music. One of the Rock eras (1955 on) top British talents, this CD includes many hit's, such as "I love you love me love", one of the top 100 best selling singles of all-time! ROCK ON!

Gary Glitter was convicted of child pornography in 1999. Most UK shops pulled his records and CDs from the shelves at that time. Now he is in trouble in Viet Nam, again for [alleged] molestation of children... one girl is 11 years old! Child rape is punishable by death by firing squad in Viet Nam. Can't happen soon enough for me!

In the meantime, I checked with the Library of Congress. Gary Glitter receives royalties as performer AND as publisher of his music... most notably Rock & Roll Pt. 2, 'the hey song' that is played at every major sporting event in this country.

Please do not buy this man's music. Please contact your local sports teams and stadiums and urge them to ban the use of R&R Pt. 2 as an anthem. American consumers must stop financing this pervert's Asian adventures! Don't pay for his legal defense team.

This guy is a convicted paedophile and is currently wanted for questioning about co-habitating with a 15-year-old girl in Vietnam. Now I haven't heard his music, I don't recognize the songs, but considering how sick and twisted this guy is, I would strongly recommend you avoid buying his albums!
