Bought this SSD to upgrade the HD that came in my Asus 901a EeePC. Installed in less than 5 minutes and has shown me no issue. Plus the speed on my Eee has now double possibly even tripled. The standard SSD for the 901a had a very slow read/write speeds and was so small it couldn't even hold a striped down version of XP and applications. So not only do I have more storage space now, but I also have improved the overall operating speed of the PC. Great buy!

Been using in an Eee that I use as a server and it's worked flawlessly. It's been on 24/7 for well over a year without issue, and R/W speeds are a whole lot faster than the stock SSD in the Eee. Great product!

Huge improvement over the debilitating super slow writes I was experiencing with the original SSD in my Asus eee pc model 900. Easy replacement and am now running Win 7 on it without any second thoughts. Highly recommended if you got suckered by the model 900 that shipped with really bad SSDs.

I replace the old 32SSD that came with the Asus 1000 and installed windows 7 on it. It is so much better and having more room makes the computer(netbook) much more useful. I recommend it as a alternative to the Runcore. It is cheaper and I can actually purchase it without having to wait for stocks to get back in.

This listing should be clarified to state that this is an upgrade for stock SSD Asus EEE PCs. I saw SATA and assumed it used the same connector. It cannot be used to upgrade from a 2.5" HDD without some sort of adapter. I even bought a miniSATA to SATA adapter/enclosure, and this card won't fit in the 1.8" miniSATA slot. If you have a netbook with a hard drive, just get an enclosed SSD with a standard 2.5" connector like the ones made by Samsung. I'm looking at a listing for one now that is only $20 more than this one and twice the size.
