MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR-HADASSAH H. BRENDLER-DOSS33@AOL.COM July 18, 2001

My life changed at the age of 55 when I became aware of the number 33 and learned that Jesus walked the earth for 33 years; Israel was made a State with a vote of 33 and Harry S. Truman, the 33rd President of the United States was the first leader of a country to recognize Israel as a state. Friends of mine who had been to Israel gave me a picture of a sign in Jerusalem that reads:"SITE OF THE BETRAYAL ARREST OF JESUS". On the sign are the numbers 333 and 23. I was led to information that proved to me that everything is connected in some way and that 33 is God's sign. That He is here now and very much involved in our lives. THERE IS A PLAN! My mother at age 86 told me that my incredible experiences made her understand her life for the first time. A neighbor died and left her a book about Jesus that convinced my mother that Jesus is the Messiah. I have been led not only to famous people, such as Michael Jordan, Willie Nelson and Jackie Mason. but also to strangers on the street. I am an ordinary Jewish woman who has had extraordinary experiences that will prove that you, too, are living God's plan. That the number 33 has been involved in world affairs is explained in detail in the book. For 16 years I wrote my book from my journal while I also wrote of new experiences taking place every day. I am committed to God to deliver this message to the world as there is no one else to my knowledge who has been made aware of these connections. The Old Testament and The New Testament state that God will send a sign. I believe 33 is the sign and has always been here but no one noticed. In the Koran, the sacred book of the Muslims, I opened at random and read significant passages involving the number 33 and a sign. SURAH XX ta ha 133-"And they say: Why does he not bring us a sign from His Lord? Has not there come to them a clear evidence of what is in the previous books?" A Muslim friend of mine gave me some worry beads. There are 33 beads on the strand. In the Rig Veda I read about the 33 Gods of Manu. In the Bhagavad Gita which I opened at random, I read "Krishna 33" which states that to give up the fight for righteousness is to forgo ones duty and honour and fall into transgresion. I have come to the conclusion that we all believe in one God, only we call him by different names. I also believe from my experiences that Jesus is here now as he was in the days of the Bible. 33 is a sign of Gods' presence. There may be a special number in your life, other than 33 that is your connection with God. You did not click to this page by chance. Your reading this is as much a part of the plan as Daniel 12:12-"And blessed are those who wait and remain until the 1335th day"; Jeremiah 33:3-"Call unto me and I will answer you and tell you wondrous things, secrets you do not know";Matthew 6:33-"But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you". The House of Representatives! approved legislation #338-90 on August 2, 1983 that made Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior's birthday a national legal holiday. My son, Larry, was so inspired by his "I have a Dream" speech he wrote a song KING. The lyrics are in the book. Gladys Love Smith moved to Tupelo, Mississippi in the spring of 1933. There she met and married Vernon Presley. Elvis was born at 3:34 AM January 8, 1935 and died at 3:30PM on August 16, 1977,(the 33rd week of the year) Albert Goodman in his book ELVIS wrote that Elvis read hundreds of books on spirituality, and that they were heavily underscored on almost every page. Elvis said that his moment of glory was being on stage and feeling all the love the audience gave to him. He said it was beyond any mortal high. He also mentioned that Elvis was influenced by a book. THE IMPERSONAL LIFE, and that Elvis gave a copy of this book to all of his friends. Ivan bought the book for me, and as I read it, I felt a personal connection with Elvis. I! was his friend. My husband and I were watching television when the camera zoomed in on the Vatican Embassy at 3339 Mass. Avenue. I dialed the phone number 333-7121 and spoke to Monsignor Celestino Migliore from Italy. He shared with me that Pope John Paul II became Pope when Pope John Paul I died 33 days after taking office and that the bloodstain on The Shroud of Turin is in the shape of a 3. In November, 1998, my husband's sister Rickye, her son Adam and his wife, Setsuko visited Japan. When she returned home, she called to tell me that she thought of me while visiting The Holy Hall, "Sanjusangendo"(meaning a hall with 33 bays). The number "33" is derived from the belief that Kannoon-Badhisattya saves all mankind by disguising himself into 33 different figures. The hall contains 1,001 statues of Kannon Bosatu, so you could look upon the total 1,001 images as the appearance of 33,033 Kannons. The height of the central image is 3.3 meters. On the cover of my book is a! 3 that filled the waterways beneath my window. Luckily, I saw it and had a camera with film. There is also a picture of a tree I was led to that appears to be a replica of the crucifixion with Jesus' face and body and wound. In the beginning, I was lazy and could not get myself to write my book on pollution. Then, one day, I opened at random to Ezekiel 33 and read that a watchman would be appointed. My interpretation of the text that follows is that if the watchman warns the people and they don't pay attention, then their death is on their own heads. But if the watchman shall fail to warn the people, then their death is on his head. I could not live with the thought that I might be responsible for anyone's death. I felt I was to warn the people about the pollution and the water that is getting dirtier and dirtier. Without clean water, we die. Read my book, then let me hear from you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like sitting across a coffee table, August 25, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The 33 Connection (Paperback)
This is a most unusual book. The writer Hadassah Brendler, records her personal story. The writing is conversational in nature. The reader often has the feeling of sitting across a coffee table listening to a most sincere woman relating the events of her adult life. Ms. Brendler records with encyclopedic memory the events, major and minor, in her life and the unusual conclusions she has made. Her honesty and sincerity is without question. Some of her conclusions made years ago with regard to smoking and pollution are commonly accepted today. They were not when Ms. Brendler espoused these concepts. She was well aware that she was considered an off-beat zealot. Hadassah Brendler gently reminds us to take her seriously for she has been proven right so many times. Her views on air contamination, pollution and allergens were ahead of time. Ms. Brendler records events minor and major with considerable detail. She records incidents that vary from stories of two small dogs to her relationship with her mother. She writes with honesty and a touching candor. Her belief in the magic of the number 33 is appealing and unquestionably sincere. Her views should not be dismissed because of common perceptions. Ms. Brendler has been proved right before.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Is this a spoof", January 15, 2006
This review is from: The 33 Connection (Paperback)
I am the husband of the author and I am incensed at the review this person sent in. I realize that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, bright as they may be, this book was not meant to be a spiritual book, but to entertain and it certainly does that. I lived all of my wife's experiences and they were thrilling. An ordinary person just does not meet people as she did and have them take to her. Willie Nelson was so entranced with her story, he invited my wife and son to come to his farm in Texas. Jackie Mason spent quite a bit of time with both myself, my wife and my son Larry. he used to call us "the folks". Thousands of people have read this book and a number of them have told us how much they enjoyed it. One woman even bought 33 books to give away to various people. One of them found its way (a story unto itself) to a woman in Florida whose husband was in the hospital. This woman wrote to my wife and told her how her story gave her peace. Another in Texas wrote to my wife and told her that she bought the book from Amazon and it changed her life. It seems to me that anyone looking for a book to read would be interested in this one as it has everything and it is all true.

5.0 out of 5 stars Regarding the 33 Connection, a readers review, October 22, 2000
By
Susana Marie McAvoy (Hallandale Beach, Fl United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 33 Connection (Paperback)
"The 33 Connection", written by Hadassah Hannah Brendler is an admirable testament of one woman's faith and her devout willingness to bring God's message to the world. In an almost comic sense; she rushes through streets, neighborhoods, and towns as she is driven to tell her story so that others may find their own truth in God. Not only does she seek out the average everyday person but moves on to celebrities and artists and eventually ends up at the Vatican Embassy in Washington, DC; where she brings her story of God and Universal Love regarding the number 33.

Being an Astrologer/Numerologist I especially love the book because it brings to light the fact that God is indeed everywhere, and not just found in traditional Biblical or Theological points of view.

Hadassah, who had no prior knowledge of the number 33 and its connection to the ancient art of divination, almost proves that numerology is indeed correct. The number 33 in numerology has been known for years to be connected to Jesus, The Christ. Although the book is not about numerology in a formal sense, it has added another twist regarding the same knowledge that has been known for centuries.

The Author has acknowledged that she had no interest or understanding of new age concepts or metaphysical teachings. Yet, she somehow has channeled the truth regarding this number and I find it incredibly interesting to see it come from a completely different, almost naive point of view.

The 33 Connection is very informative and packed with Biblical information regarding numbers and scriptures. If one looks closely they will see a certain connection between formal language and the language of Numbers. Hadassah has learned from a higher source that numbers do indeed connect us with the other world.

Without a doubt, the most outstanding attribute about her story is her unwavering faith in God and how she maintains her position even during times of possible trouble or apprehension. I wonder if many others would have the same courage or strength that Hadassah portrays as she brings her message to areas where many may be afraid to go and, as I mentioned, finally to the Vatican Embassy.

I highly recommend this book especially to Christians or anyone else who has the erroneous belief that God is up in the clouds. God is indeed a part of us all and traditional means of finding "God" are not necessarily in synagogue or church where many go to find "Him". The book is extraordinary, entertaining, and very well written. I think that the 33 Connection should be read by all. Whether Jewish, Christian, Islamic or Metaphysician there is something in this book for everyone. As Hadassah clearly teaches us, God is everywhere.
