Lots of useful (prelude, offertory) arrangements of well-known hymns. Some rather easy, some moderate in difficulty.

Mostly very nice arrangements, though a few were a little too "modern" and "dissident" for my taste.

I'm usually a big fan of contemporary arrangements of classic hymns because I often find the original versions to be too choppy. However, the songs as they are arranged in this book are unrecognizable as the hymns they are intended to reinterpret. Also, please be aware that there are no lyrics included. I want to play sacred music for its familiarity, and there was none in this songbook. I will return this item.

Many of these pieces are quite do-able for the pianist who plays occassionally and doesn't have a lot of prep time. The arrangements are modern and interesting.
