Not bad for a 70's era kit, December 21, 2008

This review is from: 1/35 German 7.5cm Pak40 AT Gun (Toy)
Recently completed this kit and I must say it is a fine specimen considering its age because the kit first came out in the mid 70's. It still holds up well against more modern kits in my estimation. Kit has a decent amount of detail and based on my photo references is well representative of the real thing. Tamiya chose to add a lot of moving features to this model that certainly adds a lot to the fun quotient: gun recoils on its mount, breech block slides open, gun traverses and elevates and the wheels turn to name a few. Excellent, crisp detail on the sprues with no hint of flash. Highly recommended. 4 out of 5 stars only because it is not a toy and because it is dated compared to more current offerings.

This toy is complete turn off..In real life it looks completely different form the one that was advertise on web page.it's all green color cheap plastic, however when you you look at the web page it looks like real soldiers that made from kind of tough robe material with distinguish face differential...Very disappointed!!!
