The DELTA 36-855 1 HP 8-Speed 4-Roller Stock Feeder is designed with a single-phase 230-volt two-speed reversing motor and four spring-loaded rubber feed rollers for maximum efficiency. A lubricated gear box works in tandem with the continuous duty motor to transmit power to the feed rollers, ensuring smooth feeding of all material types. Eight speeds match your desired pace to suit your unique feeding jobs: 6.5, 13, 18, 22, 36, 43, 55, and 108 feet per minute. The stock feeder features vertical and horizontal support columns that are fully adjustable via "T" and "L" locking universal joints. Just set your stock feeder to any horizontal, vertical, or angle feeding position and move the feeders horizontally or vertically along the columns with the feeders large hand wheels. Four industrial bolts secure the vertical support column to your table surface for added stability. Includes an additional set of speed-changing gears.

I really didn't realize how big this thing was until I saw the boxes it came in.... This is not really a portable feeder, if you want to use it on your table saw or jointer, you'll have to disassemble it as it weighs about 150 lbs.... It has one of the widest speed ranges on the market (6.5 - 108 fpm) and the four rollers come in handy. The 1hp motor is plenty strong to climb cut. The various linkages will take some getting used to but I managed to figure out all possible combinations. It is a worthy addition to any shaper for safety's sake. Just keep in mind the size of it!
