Just wanted to leave my positive review on these candles. I have a studio apartment so space is limited and tea light candles are my best option. I simply burned them in their own plastic cups and they look great as they are. I have a modern looking pad and they go well with style/decor.
Curiously, ..and this is the best part, I lit about fifteen candles and placed them all around my pad. The first ones I lit were the ones sitting on a very broad windowsill/ledge. I noticed right away that the flame started flickering aggressively. It's wintertime in Chicago so it's cold and windy and there's a draft coming in from the windows. I immediately thought, "these candles will not last long here because of how they are flickering so much." I basically thought that these would burn out faster than the others I placed far away from windows. Well, nothing could be further from my assumption. I lit about four candles and placed them in the window at 7PM. I threw a birthday party tonight and now here I am lounging after everyone left and at 2:30AM the candles in the window are still burning! Seven and a half hours these little guys are STILL burning! Unbelievable. Evidently something related to the draft is making these candles burn longer. The other candles burned for roughly five hours (where there was no draft).
I only used half the box for my birthday dinner. But since I discovered that the drafty area of the house is where I get the most bang for my buck, I will look forward to burning the remainder of my candles in this spot.
Oh, and they do not seem to emit any type of honey-like scent into the air. I thought that these candles might compete with the food but they did not. I thought that this might be worth mentioning since this can be a concern for many people.
Although the price tag is a bit more than I typically pay, I would buy this item again.
Awesome!
