Pistol Crossbow Bolts,

I only received black ones, which is why I gave it four stars. If you're using these for target practice, make sure the target area is light-colored or you may lose most of them. I may add some white or yellow paint on the shafts or plastic "feathers" to make these more visible. I also found that removing the tips and adding Krazy Glue to the area prior to replacing the tips will keep them on for much longer.
Also, these are MUCH better than the aluminum bolts - I shot the same bolt eight times without a problem (the bolt is still going strong), while with the aluminum bolts, I got four shots out of three bolts before they all broke.

Good for target practice, durable,

Some other reviewers have noted that their bolts have "broken". I use these plastic bolts with my 80 lb. Cobra crossbow pistol and have shot hundreds of bolts into many different types of targets. Although these reviewers do not explain what they mean when they say the plastic bolts break, I believe they are referring to the tendency for some of the metal tips on some bolts to pull off when they stick in hard or layered (cardboard, etc.)targets. When/if this happens, you can glue the tips back on with Superglue or any other strong adhesive and continue using the bolt. Just drip a little glue into the hollow back of the tip and press the plastic shaft down into it firmly. Wipe off the excess glue. This is not a big deal. The rest of the bolt is one piece of molded plastic and is virtually indestructible. Hope this helps.

You get more than what you pay for. Considering they cost only 15.278 cents per bolt, they performed exceptionally well. The packages I received contained 6 black, 2 blue, 2 orange, and 2 yellow per package. EXTREMELY sharp tips right out of the package. I test fired them at two layers of cardboard taped to plywood at 20 feet in my basement. Obviously the bolt gun will not have enough power to go through the plywood. I fired one whole package at the targets, but two of the black bolts shattered, and one tip stuck in the plywood/cardboard because the yellow bolt separated from the tip, but it didn't shatter. I had to hip shoot because my bolt gun doesn't have sights, but I hit bull's eye within half inch on first bolt. I think accuracy is spot-on, but I can't be sure because my bolt gun doesn't have sights. EXCEPTIONAL value for the price. I would definitely use it for close range rabbit hunting. The only reason I rated it four stars is because 2/12 bolts shattered and the tips are press fitted, instead of crimped or threaded, which caused 1 tip separation, but I don't believe tip separation or bolt shattering will be a problem when hunting small game unless you get a skull shot. If you are that good a shot, you should be using better equipment.
