i thought this would be able to fit right into the gaming system... and it does fit however it is really thick. so it hangs like a half an inch off of the unit... so you can not put the backing on the psp. it works however it is not for the psp... it is too big...

this battery delivers excellent play time. however if the psp in in your pocket and it bumps something the wrong way the psp will shut off and the cover is prone to randomly falling off fallowed my the battery.

I purchased this battery for my PSP and it was a waste of money. It doesn't fit correctly so it will keep turning the system off. Unless you want to play your games with one hand the battery in the correct place, you should buy from another vendor.
