I'm a soccer coach and still play pickup games; I purchased this a year ago primarily to help my son (who's on the small side) develop his kick power. When using it every week or so, we saw some improvement. However, his kick power and consistency improved dramatically after he started working with it daily this summer. I guess there's no motivation like self-motivation. He uses it for straight shots, touch-and-kicks, up-close volleys, running half-volleys, quick turnaround kicks, crossing kicks (that is, my cross-pass, his kick). Most recently he's focused on his non-dominant left leg. In ten minutes he can get the same number of touches he'd get in a 90-minute practice.

He's had good speed and ball skills all along. With his improved kick, now he's dominating the U12 midfield.

One mental trick that's helped: instead of treating the kickback as a goal, he usually focuses on a fence a ways behind it. That way each kick becomes more powerful with reduced chance of sending the ball soaring over it.

We just got the Kickback Rebounder and I am very pleased with it. It shipped with all the parts, nothing missing, nothing broken. Setup was easy. The product is sturdy and stable. The anchors really hold it solid. It works exactly as advertised and already is making a difference in my child's kicking skills in just a few days. Very good product. I would recommend it.

We are a football/soccer family and we purchased this rebounder net in November 2008. It's one of the best purchases we've made for our kids.

We put the rebounder up in early spring of both 2009 and then again in early spring of 2010. Each year the net stays up in our yard continually until about the middle of November. The frame poles are heavy duty galvanized steel. While the net has lasted two long seasons in all weaher, it is now time to purchase a replacement, which we will gladly do.

I can't emphasize how much of a pounding our net has taken. We bought it when our oldest son was eleven. Now at thirteen, he, along with his twelve year old brother and ten year old sister, all use it frequently, as much as any kid would go out and shoot hoops with a basketball. The neighbors come over and play "world cup" and shoot on goal all the time.

This unit is just very well made and there are even poles to stake the frame into the ground and anchor the net for even greater stability. The frame is also adjustable in size and can be expanded to near match level size.

I love to see my kids get more touches on the ball and work on things like bending the ball, placing the ball in the 90's, on power shots, chip shots, etc.

It's a great net and at the end of the season it easily collapses into a small storage footprint and is easy to re-set up again in the spring. Would heartily recommend.
