I was surprised to see this cashew butter on Amazon as 365 Everyday Value is the house brand for the Whole Foods Market chain of grocery stores.

Trader Joe's has forty-eleven varieties of peanut butter and even almond butter but they don't carry cashew butter so I pick up a jar every now or then on my occasional trips to Whole Foods as it makes a nice, grown-up alternative to peanut butter.

This smooth cashew butter is made of only roasted cashews with almost-flavorless safflower oil added to make it easier to spread. However, it is still difficult for me to spread because it takes a while for me to eat a jar so I store it in the refrigerator so it doesn't get rancid.

I do think a little salt improves the flavor, which is just what you would expect--the taste of lightly-roasted cashew nuts. Yum! Try substituting it for peanut butter in your favorite recipe for peanut sauce.

This is by far the best cashew butter I have ever had. I highly recommend this product. It does not need to be stirred as much as other butters, and the taste can't be beat!

Delicious product and great paired with jam or fluff. My entire family loves it. Nice alternative to peanut butter. Especially for someone with a peanut allergy.

Great product and good price! I have peanut and almond allergies at my house and Cashew Butter is the only thing we can have that is remotely close to peanut butter. We love it! Even my 4 year old loves it. This was a great value even with the cost of shipping compared to what's offered at my local health food stores.

The 365 cashew butter tastes so good! When I get it, there is naturally a little cashew oil at the top. I pour it out and then stir the cashew butter. It is smooth and delicious! It is great to use as a dip for fruit or on bread. I have tried another brand of cashew butter and will only buy 365.

The product came packaged and of a high quality that I'd definitely shop here, again! It's refreshing to try something for the first time and have a pleasurable experience such that there are no regrets.

Price averaged out to $10 a jar, which is relatively inexpensive, but the cashew butter itself was thin and runny, though tasty. I probably won't buy any more.

I think Whole Foods is doing something to their nut butters because all of them are waaaaay thinner than any other nut butter. I suspect they're thinning the nut butter with extra nut oil (cheap commodity) to add bulk to the jars without having to use more almonds. I'd love to see their processing plant. I'll be they don't just grind up almonds and put them in a jar. Compare this brand with the almond butter you can get ground at the store and they are light years apart... not even the same animal. Come on WF This is not the way to do it.
