In recent years, concerns about the environment and global warming have moved to the forefront of public consciousness and now play a significant role in our everyday lives. Because our understanding of the steps we need to take to make a positive impact have evolved rapidly, Abrams is updating its successful title 365 Ways to Save the Earth.
In this book, each spread includes a breathtaking photograph of nature paired with an action the reader can take to help save the earth. It tackles subjects ranging from automobile use and recycling to shopping and leisure and health and the workplace. With 145 previously unseen images by Bourseiller and an entirely new text based on up-to-the-minute environmental research, this book is an indispensable tool for anyone hoping to take part in preserving the planet.
Philippe Bourseiller, five-time winner of the prestigious World Press Prize, photographs wild and unexplored places as a mountain climber, cave explorer, and diver, is able to work in extreme conditions and capture rare images. His work appears in magazines such as Life and National Geographic and his books include America’s Parks (Abrams, 2006).

I gave it to some friends, to my grandmother. The whole family was looking at the beautiful pictures. I had my uncle reading the daily inspiring messages.
"It brings me peace when I read this book, a day at a time" my grandmother said.
Highly recommended! I even kept a copy for myself.

This is a compact hardback book with some incredible photographs of various places and things in our natural world. It does have some good tips for helping the environment although these suggestions are basically repeated towards the middle of the book. The book is worth it for the pictures alone.
