Simply Amazing,

Wow! The new Beth Hart cd, 37 Days, has been worth the wait! I'm simply amazed by the strength of her vocals, the song selection, the lyrics, and her presence! She is a true artist.
If you are hesitating to buy this import now, do yourself a favor and don't. You won't regret it if you are want to enjoy the brilliance of a real artist. She makes any song her own. Once she sings it, it's branded with the Beth Hart brilliance that only she can give.

Power and Elegance!,

Beth sounds better than ever and can belt it out like no one else can! The songs and the production are very strong and European fans have responded strongly to 37 Days. The album reached #1 in Denmark the first week released and entered the top 20 in the Netherlands and Norway not long after release. This album was recorded live at Center Staging in Burbank CA with high-def cameras recording video as well. Beth and band worked with Danish producer Rune Westberg to capture the raw live sound and produced the album like a live album. The album was recorded and mixed in only 37 Days. The album starts with one of the happiest songs ever written "Good as it Gets" and ends with "At the Bottom" one of the most heartbreaking songs Beth has ever written. She shows all sides of her personality and emotions within this cd and her sense of humor adds a great touch. There are hard driving rock songs Sick, Face Forward and Waterfalls. There are beautiful piano songs Jealousy, Over You and the amazing cover Soul Shine. It includes a classic that she has been performing live for years Crashing Down and so much more. Beth's versatility shows and both her power and her elegance are showcased. Her vocals are incredible and her band did an amazing job. This album truly shows Beth again topping her previous work and continuing to grow as an artist. Now that she has almost 5 years clean and sober the themes on this album turn more outward to the world as well as exploring her inner emotions. The political statements in Sick and Face Forward, the song inspired by the children of war Missing You, and Heaven Look Down that expresses Beth's sorrow at the state of the world. Beth is truly an astonishing artist and songwriter. I highly recommend 37 Days!

I couldn't wait for the music stores to decide to stock Beth's new cd so I ordered it specially from Europe.
14 new songs from Beth!! I have played it through-it has some beauts. Love the song 'Sick', but love the song 'Crashing Down' even more. and there are others just as great. It is good to see Beth still writing brilliant songs. Her voice is amazing.Buy the cd and savour.

Amazing CD From an Amazing Talent,
By
This review is from: 37 Days (Audio CD)
I've been a Beth Hart fan since her debut CD; "Immortal". Over the past twelve years she has put out three more cd's and an incredible live DVD that may be the most overlooked concert DVD on the market; most likely because she has moved and tours exclusively in Europe. This current CD is her best music ever and is well worth the inflated price (it's an import and not yet released here). I burned "37 Days" for a very dear friend of mine and she cannot get enough of it. Beth played Janis Joplin in the play Janis, in LA a number of years ago, and listening to her voice, there's no doubting why she was casted for the part (listen to "Mama" on her live DVD and you will know why!). If you want to "get hooked", spend $60 and buy this "37 Days" cd, and the live DVD, and you won't regret it; you won't be able to put it down!

I don't care what it costs. Buy this. Beth is the best modern vocalist out there. Energy, power and grit are ear marks of her blues/rock style. She one of the few modern singers that give me hope but since the US major labels don't seem to be picking her up I think that the music indutry in the US showns signs of being tired and not interested in music but just the dollar.
Buy this record. Buy all her records. Phenomanl performer.

Beth Hart again proves that she has the most amazing voice and sense of style in her music and lyrics. This album is first rate,it's a shame she spends so much time in Europe, depriving American offices of her imense talent.

I think Beth Hart has the most beautiful voice on the planet. I think she
is the most amazing songwriter and musician too. This is my favorite of all of her albums. This is a must have.

Words seem trivial to try to describe just how wonderful this artist is. Since her first album, Immortal, I was hooked...still am hooked on the passion that just flows so gracefully out of her. I hate that there are only five stars up there...she is so much more than that. She is pure poetry man...she rocks my socks off! |
