... which I happen to love.

Grindcore is not your parent's music, nor is it your friends', or yours for that matter.

What's that? You consider yourself "open-minded" about music? You've not a clue what that term means, rest assured. I guarantee you, ninety-nine times out of 100, anyone, be they a music professor of the highest regard or the lowliest of mall-metal fans, would switch off Pig Destroyer's "38 Counts of Battery" in utter disgust after one listen to any of the tracks contained therein.

There are those people, however, who are able to find worth in this type of music, myself included. Grindcore penetrates you in places that no other music can, moves you in ways you weren't aware of, and it rips the flesh from your bones and the paint from your wall simultaneously. In the end, however, you are left satisfied, with a whole new realm of beautiful music open to you.

You have been warned.

this is not the "fans only" release it looks like. explosions in ward 6 is every bit as good as prowler in the yard, despite being recorded on an 8 track in a basement. if anything this is faster and more intense, but maybe not quite as deranged, and definitely not as mature. that's right, i just called a grindcore band mature. 20 more tracks of mayhem round out the disc, including "delusional supremacy", which i would claim as the greatest grindcore song ever. buy prowler in the yard first, then pick this up. your neighbors will hate you for it.

35, then - (3 translations in anisotropy) - centripetal excursions of deductive analysis in perturbation; stochastically exosonic and of derivative instability. Recommended.
