AS A CABINET INSTALLER A MITER SAW IS A MUST. BOSCH'S 10" 24 VOLT COMPOUND MITER SAW IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO CUT THROUGH 6" HARD WOOD FILLERS AND 4-1/2" CROWN MOLDING WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE LIGHT WEIGHT AND PORTABILITY OF THIS SAW MAKES IT GREAT FOR PICKUP WORK. ONE BATTERY WILL LAST ALL DAY AND INTO THE NEXT. THE VARIOUS ACCESSERIES AVAILABLE MAKE THIS SAW COMPARABLE TO THE BOSCH 10" ELECTRIC.THIS SAW HAS THE BIGGEST BLADE AND LARGEST BATTERY CAPACITY OF ANY CORDLESS ON MARKET TODAY FOR THE PRICE. GOOD JOB BOSCH.

Awesome! Thats all I can say about this saw! I just finished building an all Oak staircas and this saw had NO problem at all cutting thru the toughest oak handrail and, never even bogged down when cutting thru solid oak newell post's!!! 3and a half inches thick!! Unreal.Get this saw!!!!!!!

As a contractor I buy good tools. I had already purchased the 24 volt Drill, Saw, Light combo so decided to go with the BOSCH cordless miter saw. The way I figure, I got two more batteries an another charger which I needed anyway ... I have used it for trim and cutting cripples on framing jobs. It has worked flawlessly. Some people complain about the dust collector, but it's a tool, it's supposed to make dust. I haven't seen a clean contruction site yet. To me it is not a problem if ever bit of dust doesn't get caught. The carry bag that comes with the saw is okay, but would be better if it were HEAVY duck like the Bucket Boss bags. The plasctic liner gets pretty brittle in cold weather. All in all, I'll never go to a corded miter saw.

I am a general contarctor and we bought 5 of these for our trim carpenters. They all love it. The torque and cutting power is just like a corded say, but it is lighter and easier to carry. This saw is highly recommended.

I bought this saw about nine months ago just for kicks since I already had the 24 volt drill, circular saw, and recip saw. I was more than impressed when I got it. It's lightweight and easy to carry, powerful, accurate, and has a good runtime (I quit counting at 75 2x4's ). I use mine for trimming and it is ideal for this. The saw overall is a good value with 2 batteries and a one hour charger. It won't replace a corded miter saw, but it comes pretty close.

Used this saw for about a year. I love this thing. Great for every carpentry job. It has plenty of balls. Lightweight. Nothing bad to say.

I have owned this saw for over 3 years now. It is a shame that I had paid the full introductory price when it had come out, but I wouldn't trade this saw for anything. I also own the complete 24V cordless line by Bosch. I own a small contractor buisness doing everything from kitchens, baths, additions, full house construction, to concrete work and everything in between. Not only is this saw worth it's weight in gold, but the entire 24V Bosch is worth the same. I can not write a good enough review for this item. It is so handy to set up and cut a few pieces of trim with such accuracy as my 12" Bosch Sliding Compound miter saw. In fact, I have found myself using this saw for just about every job, since I already have the case with my other cordless tools. I have trimmed out $750k houses with this saw, just set it up in every room that needs trimwork, hook it up to my shop vac and away I go with accurate miters. The only thing that I had wished this saw had was the dual compound feature, but I am used to turning crown over and cutting it the other way. The saw holds an accurate fence and the positive miter detents are right on! Again, it takes only 5 min. to pull the saw out, set it down, and begin cutting with no cords to drag around. It is the nearest replacement to a quality cordes miter saw you can ever have. I am truely convinced to forever puchase the old blue and red over the yellow and black any day. Bravo Bosch!

I own a Craftsman Bungalow and have been restoring my kitchen, den, and family room. I have been trimming and installing window trim, baseboards, and door trim recently using the Bosch 3924 miter saw. I put in the fine tooth 60 tooth blade since day one and have been making buttery smooth cuts on quartersawn white oak. I have never felt that it ever lacked power or battery life which were concerns before I bought the saw. Bosch did a really good job on this line of tools. I also own the 24v circular and 2 14v drills. I am really happy with my Bosch cordless tools so far. I am looking forward to the 24v jig saw I just ordered. Going cordless is the way to go for home improvement projects. Are we ready for larger tools like portable cordless 10" table saws? I am if Bosch makes it.

I do not know if this is available anymore but I use it a lot and it is very reliable.

well ive had this saw for a month now. i couldnt be happier i install kitchens and bath cabinets everyday and use it everyday, the battery lasted longer than i thought it would before i had to recharge it. its so light my helper dosent complain anymore about dragging the saw around. between this and the bosch cordless jigsaw and the nail gun i hardly have to plug in anything anymore i read some of the reviews before i bought this last saw most were favorable some wernt but for what i do its great i guess if i did trim all day i would want 2 batteries but thats the only down side
