The 3B Scientific F11 human eye model is 5X life size for anatomical study of ocular structures, including the upper half of the sclera with the cornea and eye muscle attachments, both halves of the choroid with the iris and retina, the lens, and the vitreous humour. The model dissembles into seven parts for effective demonstration, and is mounted on a bony orbit base to present the eyeball in its natural position. The F11 is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings.
The model measures 7.1 x 7.1 x 7.9 inches/18.0 x 18.0 x 20.0cm (L x W x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
