1.0 out of 5 stars They don't clip on!
I just got these today and not only were they unable to clip onto my glasses, but the 3D lenses were too curved to fit over my flat prescription lenses. Avoid this item!

Clip ons do not fit over glasses very well therefore I think the expected effect is just not there. Not very satisfied with product.

We have several pairs of prescription glasses in the house, and these clip-ons clip on over none of them. I contacted the seller and never got a reply. If you want poor glasses coupled with poor service, these are perfect.

The 3D glasses have a large curve. Do not fit my eye glasses. The seller does not return email. Avoid.

If you want a functioning set of 3D clip-on lenses, you're looking in the wrong place.

There are two main issues with this piece of garbage:
1. The clip doesn't work.
2. The color filtration is extremely poor, failing on the red in particular.

The moment you close the spring clip over a pair of glasses, the entire mechanism falls apart - there's nothing to keep the clip in place under tension. This alone isn't a fatal flaw (I used a twist-tie to secure the clip in place), but the lack of adequate color filtration is; it makes this product utterly unusable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great with Flight simulator, January 20, 2010

I accidentally found out my nVidia graphics card supports 3D in two different modes. One mode requires a $199 pair of 3D vision goggles, and a 3D compatible monitor ($300 to $400). Or, I could spend $8.90 for a pair of red-cyan glasses that will give me 3D effect with some loss of color.

Microsoft Flight sim FSX and FS2004 both support 3D, so I went the cheaper route. I have to contend with the glasses getting smudges, and there's a small crack starting at one of the screws holding the lenses to the frame, but I get a really good 3D effect on my computer.

I'm part of the way to getting my private pilot license, but its 2 hours of time, and $200 for each lesson, and I don't have enough of either. I'm using the 3D glasses, and other accessories) to make the simulator experience as close to the real thing so I can minimize the amount of time I need to spend in the cockpit working on my license.

I keep the clip-ons in a glasses case when I'm not using them, but I expect they'll eventually break. When they do, I'll get another of these, and another, until I can afford the expensive 3D solution.

These clip ons are comfortable and don't make me dizzy like other color combinations do. The best thing about them that my husband and I discovered while having to pause an action flick is that they flip up while remaining on your glasses. Cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Proview 3D Glasses in Clipon Form, October 31, 2009
This review is from: Clip On 3D Glasses for 3D Movies, DVD's and Gaming that Require Red/Cyan Lenses (Toy)
I have verified that these are the same lenses used in the outstanding Proview Glasses, but in clipon form. Very good acrylic lenses for durability and crosstalk elimination.

These did not fit my glasses well until I bent the lenses outwards from the clip a little. Now they fit.

I use these for watching 3D YouTube videos and they work great for that.

I only rated them 4 stars because you have to bend them a bit to get them to work.
