This ear plug is good... I have used them for a year now. But, I just realized that softer ear plugs exist on the market.
This specific ear plug should be comfortable enough for beginners to wear for a year or so, but this ear plug eventually feels very irritable because the strong thickness of the material presses harshly against the inner flesh of your ear... I would prefer something much softer. You should experiment with this issue to truly understand how it feels. Also, this ear plug shouldnt be used for sleeping. The blue cord, when it abrasively rubs against bed sheets, causes the noise of abrasion to travel up to the ear and is actually very noisy. (If you sleep without the cord inserted, the ear plug easily slips out of your ear (very slick rubber) and it is difficult to find it in the bed the next morning.) A better material would be soft foam plugs that expand in the ear canal so that slippage cannot occur. Additionally, the hard rubber harshly presses into the ear when sleeping on one side of the head. Softer plugs are best. This ear plug would best be used for daytime work, near airplanes or loud construction tools. Studying with these earplugs is sufficient for an hour or so, but then the hard rubber texture feels unbearable. These have served me well for the past year but I think I'm ready for something better. |
