Using window film on the outside of your house rather than the inside helps protect your windows. The outdoor film from 3M lasts forever (I have three-year-old film on one window) and works great. Especially good for windows that you aren't going to open in the summertime anyway.

This product really helps keep our house warmer in the winter. We have tried other brands of window plastic and this one is the best. It is high quality plastic that appears transparent. Also, it doesn't come off the window halfway through the winter.

This worked so well, I can hardly believe it. I'm not entirely sure where the air was leaking in, but this took care of it. The difference was dramatic and immediate. It was east enough to install, and doesn't look too bad, though heating it up enough with a hairdryer in the depth of winter outside was a little tough.

This is an amazing product. We live in the cold northeast, and this product
has made our home considerably more comfortable in the winter. Our heating
bills have been greatly reduced, too. I was concerned that the plastic would
be unsightly, but you can barely see it. The plastic can be removed and used
another year, although the special installation tape is hard to find.

These outdoor kits eliminate the tearing which often occurs with the indoor
version. Installation is easier, too, because there is no hairdryer involved. This is a GREAT product !

All good they took everything from 3M inside window insulation but They forgot the outside window faces weather elements other than rain or snow. Wind makes this thing flutter and fall off with time. I know not every one lives in Windy city but still I have seen similar results at my other place on west coast. I would suggest stick with the Indoor version they are cleaner easier to put up and last for all winter time.

"3M" Inc. known for it's high standards ,and it's true. I have nothing bad to say about quality ,but it was not that easy to put it on windows frames. That's all folks;)

I put this Outdoor Window Film on my screened in patio. It works really well for blocking the wind and allowing us to enjoy our patio longer. My only con is that it does have very small wrinkles from being folded in the package only visible from outside. From inside the patio, the wrinkles are invisible which allows us to enjoy the outdoor view quite well. I do recommend this product as it works well. Would I buy it again ... you bet!
