4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Stickiness, August 30, 2002

This review is from: 3M 3903 Vinyl Duct Tape, Gray 2" Wide x 50 Yards Long, 6.3 Mil (Tools & Home Improvement)
This tape is really great if you need to send out midsize boxes with heavy goods inside. The tape adheres nicely to the box, and rips off the roll with precision. Highly recommended for any office mailroom. Plus, it's a pretty good deal.

Hmm... I once saw a TV show that mentioned at least 100 uses for duct tape, like in plumbing quick fixes, etc. Now add no. 101 to the list, bioterrorism defense. Ya got it. Duct tape and plastic sheeting, you think this would help, or just scare people more? if you have an old house that is porous with lots of drafts, duct tape and plastic won't help. if you have a house that's already tight, putting up plastic sheeting to seal in the windows and ventilation will only cause you to suffocate. forget about it, if there is a real emergency, just shut the windows, and head to your bomb shelter.

Anyhow, 3M is the brand leader for not just duct tape, but for industrial adhesives on the market. This tape is made of vinyl and backed by powerful adhesive reinforced with polymer meshing. Don't stick this on drywall backed with a thin layer of plaster/paint on it, it might damage it when you try and peel off the tape later and you have to do "extra" repairs with fresh paint and plaster. rkchin
