I stumbled across the spray adjustment and wanted to pass along the info. One the top of the can, there are the letters L M and H. If you point the nozzle to those, it will make the spray pattern a thin stream, a wider pattern, and a very wide pattern.

Good adhesive. We use it to put paper labels on plastic pails.

We bought it new and have kept it serviced properly. So I never imagined the interior cloth wouldn't be covered in our Jaguar's Warranty, but it isn't. When the fabric began to peel off on all four columns, and I found out they're not covered (even under the "Select Edition") I priced new ones. At $140 ea, that seemed a little pricey, even for Jaguar. So I found an interior repair specialist, his "repair" held about 4 months and left it looking worse than before. Really.

This is a beautiful car, but to have 6 inches of fabric fluttering in the breeze, on all four corners of the interior every time you put your windows down... well you get the picture.

I did a lot of homework to find this product, now let me recommend it to you whole heartedly. I followed the directions for an, extra strong hold, exactly, and it really has performed.

I used masking tape and newspaper to protect what I didn't want glued, just as if I were spray painting. I did end up using a little too much glue, so some seeped through the fabric, but you would have to look at just the right spot to see it, and it is A LOT better than the fabric flapping in the breeze!

So, the glue performed as expected. It was easy to use, and saved me $500. Nuff said, I think.

This adhesive comes out as a frigid liquid on whatever you spray it over, and sets somewhere between one minute and half an hour after you spray it (depending on temperature and how well ventilated the area you sprayed is). I purchased it because it's hard to find anything that will bond polyethylene. Indeed, it does the job -- not superstrong, but good enough for my purposes, and better than the silicone caulk I was using. It's deceptively weak -- you start to pull it and it stretches, but the "stretch" doesn't like to give.

The downside is that it's expensive. I was assembling panels for extreme cold weather greenhouse insulation, three layers of bubble wrap thick plus an outer and inner barrier. Applying an extremely thin coating of adhesive on the inner area of the panels and an extra thick coating along the edges, a single can would bond perhaps 90% of an 8x8 layer. That adds up pretty quickly.

This has been my rescue adhesive when all others won't stick. That's because this also bonds plastic and rubber. It fills voids in rough surfaces and it's elastic enough that it won't break loose from vibration. While at the same time - this is amazingly strong. I just used it to glue the edge of the rubber sole back on to my favorite leather shoes. I also used it to glue the rubber absorber onto the diving board concrete support, insulation onto metal ducts, and countless other home repair jobs. It gets dry enough so I don't have to hold the pieces together after about 5 minutes. The only thing this is not ideal for is precision assembly for tiny objects because of the powerful and wide spray pattern. However I must admit I've also used it that way while cleaning up the excess overspray.

Do not use on paper, it eats right though. This is not spray mount! This is a high powered adheasive that comes out like a freaking spider man web ! It comes out in a thick gel. It sprays from a slit in the nozzle so the foamed glue is dispersed in a diagonal spray. This can be very important info to someone looking to buy this product, hope it helps. Stregnth is very impressive and it holds very well. This is no super glue or liquid cement, but it bonds most materials like plastic, metal and even fabrix pretty well.

Wow! This stuff glues anything to anything! I've glued 2 pieces of wood together and upon attempting to pull the pieces apart, the wood fractured! This glue is stronger than the natural bonds that hold wood together!!!

Buy it, you'll love it!

I've never tried a spray on contact cement - always used the roll-on can of goop. But I saw this used and recommended in a wood working video, so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy with it so far. I haven't used it long enough to talk about longevity of the bond. But I will say the application was super easy, worked well, and gave me a very strong bond.

I was concerned about getting a flat seal between laminate and substrate, particularly with making multiple overlapping passes to cover a panel. But the woodworking video showed that even with what looks like uneven (almost silly string pattern) spray coat and obviously thicker overlaps, the stuff flows and produces a smooth bond when joined.

I will suggest that it's better to put two or three thinner coats on each piece instead of trying to get a "typical" thick coat you'd get from rolled or brushed glue. It only takes one or two minutes for each coat to dry to tacky. (A thick coat took much longer.). And you must abide by the instructions not to brush or roll the sprayed material. Just spray it and leave it be.
