This review is from: 3M Adjustable Under-Desk Keyboard Drawer, Gel Wrist Rest with Antimicrobial Product Protection (KD90) (Office Product)
This 3M keyboard tray is extremely sturdy and very well built, but it doesn't glide in and out from under the desk as smoothly as I'd like. At first I though I had installed it incorrectly, but after measuring and remeasuring, using a strait edge and a level, I'm certain it's installed nearly to perfection. The tray arms lack wheels that roll along the tract that holds it in place, which results in a bit of fraction. I ended up spraying it all down with WD-40 and it resolved the issue a bit.
This tray also adjusts up and down, which is why I bought it. But adjusting the tray can be a bit clunky. It doesn't really move as smoothly as I'd like. But once you have it in place, it stays there. The tilting feature is nice as well and the included mouse and gel wrist pad are nice additions. Overall, I expected a bit more out a product this expensive. Most keyboard trays that slide on tracts, like this one, are under $50. But this particular tray is adjustable and extremely sturdy. Whether I would purchase it over is a bit of a coin toss.

Perfect for Unique Need,
This review is from: 3M Adjustable Under-Desk Keyboard Drawer, Gel Wrist Rest with Antimicrobial Product Protection (KD90) (Office Product)
I was in search for a commercial-duty keyboard drawer that could span beneath a structural support of the desk I will be mounting it to. I could not go with the more common single-arm, slide-track trays because the slide track would intersect the structural piece. This tray easily spans the support piece and so far, seems solid and stable.

I have never written a review about a product before, that is because I am a very easy going and not very picky, but this "keyboard drawer" is a complete piece of crap and extremely over priced. Lets start with the installation: Once i finally got all the brackets in, i attempted to put the drawer in, it would not do so. I ended up having to remove the brackets, and install the drawer first and then re screw all the screws in. This was very frustrating. Now when they say this drawer slides rough, that is laughable. I actually have to force it to come out. I got this for my recording studio because my mixer and synthesizers take up the desk space. The drawer doesn't even stay in place even when i tighten the lever underneath it. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this and would like to see what 3M is going to do about either lowering the price to something more reasonable or replacing the unit completely. The "gel" wrist pad also feels like a large piece of rubber and not very gel-like at all. I even tried adding WD 40 bu that didn't help at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
