I purchased this about 6-8 months ago and have not used it until now as I was using up older stock. While this product may work well on glass and other materials it will NOT work on stone! My carrier tape had a stronger bond to the material then the material had to the stone, so it pulled off the stone when I tried to remove my tape!
The adhesive tack is not enough to bond to the stone surface yet the carrier plastic bonds so well that removing it actually stretches and distorts the image.
My sole purpose for purchasing this product was to blast on stone. Now I have just under 10 yards of useless rubber.
Perhaps this is not the usual properties of this product as I'm suspecting I have an outdated or expired roll.

Have used this material since the late 1970's it was an excelent blast tape then and I have just received my recent roll and expect it to be just as great. I do remember it thicker back then but then, my memory could be playing games on me.
Look forward to using this roll and ordering another one soon.

This is the only blast resist worth buying for stone or other heavy blasts. The light vinyl is good for glass, not stone.

I don't see a length for the roll in the product description. I am looking to purchase this for small projects.
