I received my respirator today and I am slightly dissapointed. I thought that this product was ready to use. It is not! You must purchase the filters separately. I feel that at the very least, a set of particulate filters should come with this respirator. The respirator itself is very comfortable and fits well.

Price was more than I wanted to pay. I am glad I bought it. Fits tight, my eyes are protected. The shield is not a hinderence, I have about 6 hrs of spraying time using acrylic urethane clear and I can still see well enough to judge colormatch, metalic laydown , ect. Putting on , and removal of the respirator is a micro pain,( which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars ), but well worth the effort!

Very comfortable, much more so than any half-face mask I've worn. The peel-and-stick face shield
protectors seem like a good option. 3M respirators feature a more flexible rubber that is both a good
seal and comfy fit. My only complaint is I like the strap control on the Survivair better.

This item is *not* what is pictured here. The description is for a half-facepiece respirator, but the picture is of a full-facepiece respirator! I noticed that several of the vendors are offering this in the $15 price range, and several are offering it in the $100+ price range. I ordered this and the respirator that I received was not what was pictured (no clear plastic face shield.)

It looke like Amazon has inadvertently combined two different respirators into a single listing.

I have only one complaint about this mask, it could be a bit larger. If I had to wear it everyday, I would not be too happy!
All the components are replaceable & the face mask disposables are great.

Bought the 6800, which I believe is idenitical but is the medium size version of the 6000. Fits like a glove and is really easy to put on and take off. Like a previous reviewer said, I wish I'd got one of these years ago. It's recommended you buy a pack of the disposable face protector shields if you'll be using it to spray paints.
