Bought this and the soap dish together.

The adhesive system rocks. Very solid - can hold a ton! Very easily to install and everything looks great....

However - Rust started forming behind each unit. Within 6 months the thing was covered in rust.
Seeing how I paid almost $50 for the two of these I expected them to be of a bit higher quality.

Cannot seem to find these in stores anymore so I assume 3M is onto the issues and started pulling them off shelves.

Be warned.

This Caddy looks great, it is much better looking than the plastic ones. It has a thin coating of plastic to prevent rust, unfortunately with use this plastic wears down and the unit will rust in a wet environment (the shower).

Perfect for normal (dry) environments... In the shower expect to need to coat / paint the unit or have a short life with rust issues.

This is so much nicer looking and stronger than those suction cup holders I was happy to get rid of. I thought they were priced a few dollars too high, so I put off buying them for quite a while.

I hope it stays as firm on the wall as it is now. The basket is spacious, although I wish it had a slightly deeper basket to hold some of the large bottles of shampoo my wife buys.

Overall, great product and I have already purchased more for my other bathroom.

Looks great, with a metallic matte finish, very clean lines and holds all my shampoos and soaps easily. Was easy to install, and holds a LOT better on my tile walls than suction cups! I'm very pleased with this caddy - I bought both the side unit and the corner unit too.
